universetwisters
Throughout V I noticed that both Michael, Trevor and Dave Norton mention the army driving "Army Jeeps" I found it odd considering that they should have said Army Canis' to keep it canon It seems that while the brand is of course different, the generic WW2-originating term "jeep" still exists in the GTA world. The police radio in SA would also refer to some vehicles as "jeeps" as in the generic category (like "sedan" or "SUV").That's funny, I never noticed that before. It makes sense though, considering the history of the jeep and how the word "jeep" itself was a nickname given to it by soldiers. Is it trademarked in that sense or is it open season? Think about Mafia II, in the first missions. they didnt used licensed cars in that game...: Vito: "Uhh.. you think i could drive?" Joe: "drive? you dont even know how to drive. the roads are all iced over and this is a luxury class automobile, this aint no tank you know." Vito: "I know how to drive joe, i drove a jeep all the time in the army" Joe: "what the hell is a jeep?" Ivan1997GTA and Facepalm38
universetwisters
Seems about right, jeep is just a nickname. Hell, the name was originally a popeye character & a locomotive's nickname just to give how diverse it is.

This may be why the song was cut from the final release of the game
universetwisters
That's odd, I always interpreted that line as "scoopy doop" or something along those lines. Isn't kleenex nowadays an umbrella term for just tissues in general sorta?

Nico
I know this is not a product (and I don't know if this was posted earlier) but I'm listening to LCHC right now and Jimmy Gestapo mentioned California. Did you see the frightened ones? Did you hear the falling bombs? Did you ever wonder... ...why we had to run for shelter when the promise of a brave new world unfurled beneath a clear blue sky? lpgunit
An advertisement for Juki's Union Special machines can be seen in Chinatown: There's also a blurry but somewhat readable logo for Scotchguard on the flooring supplies sign not far from the Juki building: If I may remember this has since been edited out on the mobile version, but I'm not sure if the same goes with the Xbox port. The hubcaps used in GTA 3, Vice City and even in some cutscenes from San Andreas were from a Fiat Punto. From the blue round logo in the middle, to the weird circle halfway in the middle. Has always bothered me, since 5 lug steelies would've been a much better fit for stock/placeholder wheels. universetwisters, Mehaniq, No. and 1 other
Mehaniq
San Andreas: Few logos of "Sigue" and "Vigo" in east los santos. "Costa Azul" travel agency logo in same zone "Beaumont co" ad on building next to LS city hall. A f***ing lot of real-life logos in Gasso interior. And many of them easy to recognize. "Fosters" crocodile yellow road sign in Welcome Pump interior "Milwakuee" logo on Amity Seafood Restaurant in LS country "Philips" logo on b-dup TV in new glenpark house interior I dont remember now but some elipse-shape electronic company logo on microwave oven in Saint Marco bistro interior. "Motion Picture Hall of Fame" real full logo on Vinewood blvd. "Tiki adult theater" name and banner identical to real-life sign Unknown but maybe real sewing company logo in LS gas station storefront (close to Broadway car spawn) And "Rockstar" logo everywhere Xane_MM and No.

I always only heard that song on the commercial in the game, where they play a couple seconds of each song on that station. Then I would never hear them play the actual song which confused me, this is the first time I've heard it.
