universetwisters
Out of curiosity, has anybody found any real life products, brands, etc. in any GTA games? I remember back in GTA 2, the radio mentioned a Chevy Silverado and looking through Vice City's map just now, I've noticed a Space Mission pinball machine and a sign for Fosters, both at the Greasy Chopper. That said, does anyone else know of any real life products in the GTA series? These are pretty interesting finds so far and I'm interested in seeing more. wiizardii
I don't know any at all. Besides from parodies, I don't think there is any real life products in GTA's... If there were, the company that made them would sue R*.

matajuegos01
Only in radio station songs like in East Los FM, but since every narcocorrido has brands I don't think that counts. Btw every post you make is either hilarious or interesting, I like that mr titty twister universetwisters

I'm gonna give radio songs a pass on this because that a lot of them do that, along with mentioning New York/Los Angeles rather than Liberty City/Los Santos, like how this song both mentions Compton and Miller Lite matajuegos01

PowerKracker
I don't think it can be a "slip-up", it takes a bit of thought to model and texture a pinball machine. I suppose they used it because it's obscure and no one would chase them for it anyway. Also, the GTA III era was more grounded in our reality than the HD Universe. Some promotional material for GTA III mentioned the then-newly elected president George W. Bush, and there was a Miami billboard. There was FBI instead of FIB, and so on. universetwisters
Some promotional material for GTA III mentioned the then-newly elected president George W. Bush, and there was a Miami billboard. There was FBI instead of FIB, and so on. As much as it makes me cringe, I think the mention of Miami and stuff was made before they decided to do Vice City as a game. I don't see a problem with calling the FBI the FBI though, rather it was IV that made it weird and named then FIB because "lol the fbi lies social comentary" As far as the pinball machine goes, I can imagine they let it slide because it was a cutscene prop and if my memory serves, we never get a chance to see the front at a good enough angle. But then again, considering how detailed the bar is to begin with, I'm surprised they let it slip, especially how making a minor change like that took me about 30 seconds in Paint, probably a bit longer with photoshop but still. Dope_0110
This is a great topic, though besides the first post with the pinball machine, and maybe those Honda rims (can't see their logo from that angle and at that size) everyone else doesn't seem to get what's the purpose of the tread. Sorry I can't contribute, but I can't remember of any as all the products I can remember are parodies and not real life. universetwisters

Hmmm nice bike
In GTA IV, there's a Windows logo on the back of the DVD player in the Algonquin safehouse. You can also look at the windows of the 24/7s and see Cheez-Its, Chex Mix, Quaker Oats, and Chips Ahoy. I guess they figured the logos from the window textures are blurry enough that they won't get into any legal trouble, and I don't think it's that noticeable anyway. Nico
In GTA SA, someone mentions JFK and Janet Joplin But those are real people, not real products. And is Janis Joplin, not Janet.
