GTA IV features that i miss

After reading all this I want these features in GTA V more than ever. And some of my favourite things in GTA IV were the way explosions could throw you back if you were at the edge of the blast zone and the ringing noise you got and the way you could ragdoll with two handed weapons like the assault rifles and RPG and actually fire them while you were ragdolling.

There is a lack of IV's freemode options such as being able to select friendly fire off and police off. Not to mention all this ranking stuff. I miss not being able to enter a freemode where you can pick up weapons for free and not having to worry about money or rank. Rocket launcher battles FTW.

 

I hope Rockstar will change this. But I have my doubt as they can't make the $$$$$ using IV's freemode settings.

 

They weren't wrong when they said V was about money, hell it's even in the logo. R* parodies of capitalism and greed is really starting to look ironic now.

let's hope they're just playing a big joke on us all or something and this isn't really the direction they're going in

In GTA:IV when you did an 8 lap GTA race etc, about half of the other players would set up camp trying to kill other racers.

 

No real motivation to do this in GTAO.
