Is it true that there was supposed to a third DLC episode at one point

I remember reading some threads how there was going to be an episode called "Blood and a Four Leaf Clover" and it was supposed to be centered on the Irish mob. I read that the character Gordon was supposed to be the protagonist and I think we probably would have seen more of the McReary family in this.

 

The question in my mind was it planned before but then Rockstar scrapped them? I even noticed online that there was even a picture with the GTA logo and the subtitle below it written in a font like it was planned but then scrapped. I read how Rockstar planned that "The Ballad of Gay Tony" was the last DLC episode that they would do.

 

Can anybody tell me?

There is a rumour nowadays that says there will be a new GTA called GTA: City of Paradise, located in Las Venturas. But finally it seems like it is totally fake.

There was a rumor with this name circling around the internet and one of the members of GTAF built his concept around that idea. It was mostly bullsh*t spawned by some fan, since GTA IV achievement "Impossible Trinity" was confirming that there will be three protagonists.

I think the Blood & A Four Leaf Clover concept thread jumped over that by making Gordon watch Gracie over the period of a few days.

 

But yeah, I thought after TLAD came out, Rockstar stated there was only going to be one more DLC and people were speculating if Luis was going to be the protag or Gordon.

Oh, alright, i didn't see that thread. That seems like a good way to fix this. But still, Gordon as a character just doesn't seem like he could be a main character. Maybe if i was around on this forum around the time people were speculating, my opinion might different.

If you look at the concept thread, all those new vehicles and guns look like out of place mods (including a silenced gun in a game without stealth), as well as those songs not really collating to the stations they put them with.

 

I think also the diamond saga was the main thing to tie the trilogy characters together, something we can't tell ol' Gordo had any part of.

 

It probably never had anything to do with Rockstar.

Wait so everyone around here is stating they "think" it was fanfiction? Jesus christ it was fanfiction 100%, nothing more to it. But it was an actually decent fan fiction, something that I would have loved to have seen Rockstar make.

i dont think it was. i remember seeing a youtube video about the rumor but sadly it wasnt true. it would have been cool to play as gordon i thought he was funny and we would have seen more of the mcrearys which i liked. i also wished they had like a eastern european dlc. more to do with faustin and dimitri. i love hove beach and the european feel. i also liked that part of the story. i was sad when i had to move to bohan.

Maybe a safehouse you have to sleep every few nights. You can still leave and free roam or missions in the meantime.
