Does anyone else like/own this car? Like I saw one the other day and thought "wtf is that" stole it, took it to a garage, had money burning my pocket and a space in my garage so I thought "what the hell, yolo swag"

It's actually a nice little car and looks pretty cool too? Or was I a little too high?

being an front engined FWD , only handling is advantage . the acceleration is poor , making it bad getaway vehicle

I had one for a while. I actually enjoyed it. Wheelspin is crazy and make the handling interesting.

i noticed it spawning quite a bit along with other uncommons like the Serrano.

 

actually Simeon's list consisted of just uncommon cars.

It was my fave compact in the game until the Rhapsody came out. Looks awesome for a little tuner car and more stable and fun to drive than an Issi and Blista.

 

I kind of miss it and wish I could still whip around it in but lack of garage space pushed it out.

Mines a greeny colour too! I don't understand how people say it's bad at handling, it's slow yeah but it corners like a dream in my opinion, wonder of people have even driven one?

I tired to give it a chance and it's not bad looking and has decent customization.... but that performance. Good god the terrible performance.

OT I love the Bollokan Prairie I like the way it looks but I hate how its so uncompetitive in Compact races you have to put so much effort in compact races to win in that car and I tend to come in 2nd or 3rd if the car doesn't slide out on a turn I don't have a picture of it yet but if I do take one ill post it here.

It's got a lot of character - and it's one of the better representations of a real-life car in the game, because it's just an amalgamation of the various models of Hyundai Tiburon, smooshed into the one car.

Well worth fully-upgrading, to mitigate the front-wheel-drive's lack of 'oomph' and poor climbing ability (try going up hills in a stock Prairie - and sit back as you slide all the way down...) - fit it with everything, and it turns into a respectable performer. I've smoked Blistas and Rhapsodies in mine - which is all the more satisfying when the response is "...b-but teh Prairie sucks!!". Not when properly tuned, it doesnt!

Speaking of tuning, it may be KDM* rather than JDM, but I also like how it's the only compact with sports/tuner body mods - allowing you to go from this:

*my 2nd character's backstory is that she's from Little Seoul (skipped the tutorial, so she just started straight away in the city, rather than flying in), and a street racer, so I though it appropriate that her first ride should be some family-grade Hyundai that she's tricked out, before moving on to muscle cars and JDM sports cars.

Well it's based off a car that epitomized everything that was wrong about the automotive industry in the early-mid 2000's (Hyundai Tiburon), so that's not a good start...

 

It's FWD, so huge loss of points there...

 

It handles in a way that can only be described as sub-par...

 

It's slow...

 

And it looks OK... not great, but OK...

 

In summation: It's a prefect representation of its real-life counterpart: a slow car that's built to econobox specifications and labeled as a fast car because of its handsome yet forgettable body-styling in an attempt to lure young, clueless, and naive buyers.

 

Honestly though, if it was AWD or RWD and handled slightly better, it would be an EXPONENTIALLY better car.

Good little car. I had it fully modded, and it looks/drives decent. It is one of the few FWD cars in game, which gives it a unique feel. Had to sell it though, to make space for some of the hipster DLC cars. If we ever get third properties, it is definitely making a comeback.

I'm not the biggest fan of it, but I don't hate it. I like how it looks, but IMO it handles like a FWD shopping cart.

I hate all hyundais except the veloceter because of the funky 3 door design, otherwise they all look oddly curved and feel like they are missing something in terms of design. The prairie to me looks weird and the design seems like its too disjointed.

Don't understand the hate it gets. Not ALL cars have to be the speed of sound. I just wish it was classified as a coupe and had rwd, otherwise it's perfectly fine.
