This is the only DLC I've been super hyped for (assuming it is coming). I have been so bored of the game I've been digging out old games and watching GTA fall down the pile of cases.

I hate this feeling, it was the same last week. Everyone's expecting an update, then 2-3 days prior to the infamous Tuesday, everything goes downhill and the speculation of it coming out goes abstract. Next thing you know that negativity ends up being the reality. I'm still hoping for an update tomorrow, but time is running out.

we do need something online is getting boring, but the stuff they have added so far are only quick fixes the fun soon wears off and we are left wanting more. Next gen will solve this hopefully with more free roam activities and actual character progression with heists, casinos, gang wars (where you control territories to earn an income stream not the current gang attacks) I don't any of this stuff can be done terribly well on current gen as the game is buggier than a rainforest on 10 year old tech. I don't know why they haven't put in more missions when they had such scope for doing so, I remember when you met Lester for the first time in online and he told you to get an apartment with a room for planning big stuff, here we are 10 months later and all he rings me about now is capturing bounties . . .

He (Stingray) has a point, at the end of the day Rockstar IS a business corporation, and a multi-billion dollar one at that. I highly doubt that they would say the day of release date of an official update just by the request of a random fan.

Just to make it clear for some people: Maybe you should realize that the people working on the newswire and on twitter are normal employees, they often don't know sh*t about what people in the coding departement or their chiefs want to release in the future or what they are currently working on.

 

Their job is just to keep the Newswire/Twitter as clean as possible.

 

Maybe you should stop reading to much in the lines what any employee in the support section of this company wants to tell us...

I struggle to even get excited for DLC now... if it comes out, I play GTA... if it doesn't come out, I don't play GTA. Then a couple of weeks after the DLC comes out, I don't play GTA. Unless they actually give a substantial update, and Hydra or no Hydra, some flight missions ain't going to cut it I'm afraid.
