I'm telling you now the developers working on new gen wont be the same team that work on old gen and a different team would work on dlc etc etc. I would say that the staff levels would run close to 1000. I work for a company which up to recently had over 90000 (I think we are at 50000, now some of you may be able to guess what company from that drop in the tech world) large organisations are extremely well structured with very clear seperation of teams.

So my speculation here; Dukes was already in code for a long time, like the hunter and hydra. Maybe those will be there as well, but kept secret as a surprise. But for the blimp and other vehicles; will it be online as well? I sure as hell hope so! This is awesome. Getting PS4 in november now for sure. For this and AC: Unity.

 

Also hope the wildlife will be in GTA online as well as the new activities.

PS3/X360 were just beta testers. Heists will not come to past gen, thats something I know now

We played the game for about one year now. Don't think we are beta testers. A lot of great games we enjoy for 2 or 3 weeks. GTA V old gen is the game I most like now, and I'll enjoy a lot the new gen version. The only problem is that I don't know if I buy the ps4 or xone. Ahhahahah I like more the ps4 cause of little big planet, and because I don't have to buy a bunch of adapters for the controller such as headset adapter, play and charge kit for all the controllers, etc.. In the new trailer ("A Picket Fence and a Dog Named Skip"), is that old man in the purple vest at 0:12 a new Strangers & Freaks character? Don't remember seeing him before.

An update for next week does sound possible, considering they didn't take the perfect opportunity of announcing this news closer to the 17th.

Edit: I wouldn't get hyped over the muscular guy. Remember the Fort Zancudo soldiers in the Flight School trailer that were doing the "celebration" animations? They were also ripped, and everyone thought that it was new character customization options, but instead it was just pedestrian models being used for the trailer. Likely the same case here.

What do you guys think is true?

Personally I think Gamestop misquoted Rockstar and that it's only available to PS4, XB1 and PC players who are upgrading from PS3 and X360.

Don't usually get my hopes up too much, but Heists is likely now more than ever. With it not being Exclusive for the newer versions, if the Dukes etc really are exclusive to the new versions only, then it would only be fair last gen consoles get a substantial update like Heists which they were promised, which they can easily add on to the Newer versions too when it comes out.

 

It's either going to be Next Week, or it will be a longer wait coming out on the GTA Online anniversary.
