Give it another 3 to 4 weeks (though some are holding out for the 17 of Sept. Which I have high doubts about) the craziness will start again

 

It would be crazy if Rockstar didn't release anything on the week of the 17th. I mean, it is Rockstar, so they could do absolutely nothing. However, it is reasonable to expect DLC starting on the 16th, simply because of the significance of the date. Whether the DLC will be anything worthwhile that actually adds to the game, like the Hydra, Heists, or the Hunter, is another story altogether.

Either on September 17th or October 1st. The next update is going to be huuuuuuuuuuuuuge.

every dlc adds something to the game,just because it doesnt add to your game is YOUR problem!!

October 1st is a more significant date where Online is concerned, though 16th/17th September is long enough after the last Update for a new one to be possible.

Interesting. So I hope the next update will be released before november 11th then (obvioulsy wednesday 17th or tuesday 16th), and won't be a military sh*t, I mean something before the military sh*t.

When Activision take over Take Two, doesn't mean Rockstar's games will be crappy too. The team from Rockstar usually will still be working on Rockstar's project.

 

So, why not? There's a chance for the games to be better. Maybe you won't see Cash Card crap anymore in the next GTA Online.

 

This. I would argue that Take Two, and their liability towards their stock holders, is a large part of the reason why GTA Online is so messed up. A company like Activision makes enough money through other products that they wouldn't feel the need to milk every last penny out of the Grand Theft Auto series.

 

 

That, and if it hasn't become apparent to you, Rockstar needs an administrative overhaul. They have some of the best creative guys in the business, but they suck as a company. They have no organization and poor worker morale, hence all the delays and other issues that consumers like us are beginning to recognize as traits of the company. This could be a good thing.

 

 

As long as it isn't EA (who would absolutely destroy the franchise), I think we are good.

 

You're saying Activision, a Publisher that oversaw the release of Bacon Gun Camo wouldn't milk GTA every chance they had? I guess you didn't buy the Snoop Dog announcer pack for Ghosts. LOL, so true! Trinity rocket in your back pocket, yes sir!

It's in Polish but it's basically saying that due to GTA V and GTA Online constantly expanding you'll have to upgrade your PS3 with a hard disk.

I know we've known that for few days but what's strange it says " Due to PS3 12GB limited memory you will have to buy additional memory to be able to play after new GTA V title update that releases on 1 September 2014"

 

There wasn't any update yesterday so I don't get why I got such email, perhaps update today? If not in few minutes then I don't see it releasing this week.

Yeah they will probably release a trailer the night before or something. They released a trailer for the worse update yet so I dont see why they wouldn't release one for the biggest update yet. Especially if its heists. It might be their new way of announcing updates

Haven't seen anything yet. I expect it to be a 1/3 to 1/2 page article discussing the features shown on YouTube, citing Dumbasslive as a credible source. That's what any other site does when faced with the prospect of a new gta article

I hope next update they add new masks and awesome clothing. Like ski masks or bandannas and for clothing Gloves would be good, like gloves to go with anything not just a flight suit and trench coats. As for vehicles im not to sure. Something thats not useless

Army DLC is too smiliar to the last DLC. Heists has to be the anniversary DLC....it's a match made in Honkers.

I wouldn't expect heists anytime soon from r*. Battlefield beat them to it, lol.

I hope the next update is something big. After the Flight School, anything would be an improvement.

If it's anytime soon it will be small so I would recommend to be patient

Don't think so. They took a month and 19 days with flight school and it was a kind of small DLC.

They clearly had them ready for spring. I think they found a glitch or something and needed to patch it up. So heists must be the next update. Plus all the leaks

I dont think they were working on flight school during that whole time period. I think they took maybe a few days working on flight school and then went on to working on heists, story DLC or next gen. Flight school was just something to keep us interested until the big update comes out and while they work on the other updates like Halloween and Military DLC's

It would depend if the new DLC is only for current gen due to a new map being added, if not then last gen should be fine for a few years until something like that happens.

 

My guess they will stop DLC altogether once they are happy with the users that have migrated over from last gen..........so that could take a few years.

Activision doesn't want to own Take Two at all, according to what i've heard they have interest on it because they want help Rockstar financing a GTA movie.

 

Edit: Even though Rockstar have said they have no interest in making it they can always change their opinion about it.
