Official Rumour & Speculation Thread V2 [v1.17]

I'm gonna say it; Heists will happen. Unsure if it will be the next one or the one after that, but considering the leaked animations and data there is no reason for this not to be on the PS3 or Xbox 360, considering some of the mechanics in gameplay are used in the single player, which already work well on these consoles. I like to think Rockstar's delays and reasons are legit, and with what the leaked information sounds like, it's possibly going to be worth it. I'm really expecting it to spice up current gameplay in GTAO.

 

I don't want to go into it with high expectations, but I think this will be fun, and I think it will happen soon.

My guess is September 17 (One year anniversary of GTA 5) Heists IMPOSSIBLE

Kind of off topic I guess, but whenever 1.16 may drop, I won't be able to enjoy it, my PS3 took her last breath this morning. We have been fighting this battle for about 3 months now, but she just couldn't fight any more. I first noticed she was acting a little funny, and she was breathing very loud. I knew something was horribly wrong when, one day, she just fell asleep for no reason, flashing her red lights. I waited until the next day, and everything was fine. I finally had hope in life again, and figured everything would be okay.

 

Fast forward to about a month ago, she started falling asleep more frequently, and most of the time, it was while I was doing something, like Netflix or GTA. I flipped her over, and boy, was those vents clogged up. I took a vacuum cleaner and carefully cleaned her out, and she was so clean and nice looking, I was confident that this had fixed the problem. I was wrong. Now, she turned off even MORE frequently, and most of the time, only 30 minutes after using it.

 

Had to give her a break for a while because of school and all that jazz, and just came back to her yesterday. I was so excited to play my favorite game after so long waiting. Got 5 minutes in, and boom, she shut down, beeped, and that was it. It was late, so I just went to bed and hoped it would be better this morning. Turned her on, she flashed green, yellow, then red, beeped, shut off, and that was the end....

 

This was such a long painful battle, talked to the Sony Hospital and they informed me that my system would have to be sent in for service, but it would be better just to buy a new one....

Happened the same to mine. It was the motherboard. I knew it when it beeped more than 15 times a day, and finally one day it died. I cleaned it up nicely with a brush just to see if dirtiness was the problem but nope. Tried more than 40 times and I still had that YLOD, so I switched to Xbox and my other one died in November (it was the Xbox Arcade) so I bought a used Xbox 360 S and oh boy. 250 GB and you feel it. I have more than 140 GB in games, updates and stuff.

 

I'm not telling you to switch to Xbox, I'm just saying that the problem MIGHT be in the motherboard and that is unfixable, or at least it's cheaper to buy another PS3 (my mother told me it cost 400€ to fix it).

Heists has been delayed again over since June, no one knows Rockstar is giving a random DLC Update. Like that Hipster Update back in June.

I was put into the cheaters pool just now, pretty pissed.

 

I had about 30M, I knew I shouldn't have glitched. But the thing I don't get is I glitched that money months ago.............

 

Also I only used God Mode to play in invite onlys, I'm sad looks like no update for me

Aww got me all excited. I thought a patch had come out since it was a new thread. Something no one answered on the previous thread, the zombie leak rumor was based on an update code having ZMB. Are people sure that doesn't stand for Zancudo Military Base?

If I'm nit mistaken Zancudo is an AFB.

From what gtawiki points out, it seems it is just a mash of army, navy and air force. I'm guessing Rockstar just bundled them all together in the same place.

I remember seeing those two rifles in a cut content thread last year. My guess is, who found the DLC weapons a little bit before the hipster update also found those amongst them and, believing they would also be part of the DLC, just gathered them into the pic. No, they are definetely upcoming dlc weapons because other weapons on that pic is also dlc weapons

 

The SCAR was originally the "Advanced Carbine/Rifle" until it was replaced with the "Advanced Rifle" early on indev.

The MG was the intended third MG.

They are cut content, but much like the Rhapsody they will (likely) be re-purposed as DLC.

I think the Rhapsody is the only cut content that was actually launched as DLC, and even so all they needed to do was to port the TLaD model and add in a couple of mods. That doesn't mean those specific weapons will be in the game, especially when none of the other cut weapons was added as a DLC.
