INSANE GTA 5 SINGLE-PLAYER HOW TO GET TO NORTH YANKTON 1.15

This Glitch also works in 1.17 if you had done this glitch in 1.15.

Holy crap guys, I found a way to reach north yankton in singleplayer, this is after patch 1.15 (also 1.16 and 1.17), this is method works on both PS3 and Xbox 360.

If you're going to make about this, I don't mind as long as you give credit.

 

This is quite a long tutorial, and this is the method I have done it, so here goes:

 

1. First, you will need to change Franklin and Micheal's character models using the USB method but LEAVE TREVOR NORMAL! Heres a video on how to do this:

(If you have a save file with a modded M and F, just use that).

 

2. Make sure the save file you have modded is playing as Trevor, what you want to do is goto Pause>Game>Replay Mission, then replay the mission "Mr. Phillips", press X to start the mission, the screen will show again, this time press O.

 

3. You should be frozen, and the Modded Micheal will walk away, now go to the Replay Mission and replay the mission "Chop", It will ask you to play the mission, press X, the same message will pop up again, press O.

 

4. You still should be frozen, the Franklin you modded should be walking away. (Not needed to do.)

 

5. Goto Pause>Online and start an invite only session or solo session.

 

6. Switch to Trevor, now the GTA 5 logo will appear on your screen, after will be a long loading screen, now wait.

 

7. You will should spawn as Trevor once it has loaded, for me I spawned at the hospital, but if the screens filter is different, that mean it has worked, the Trevor you're playing as is the default one, so he has his normal shirt and haircut.

 

8. Now you need a helicopter, I recommend going to the Heli-pads nearby the docks, as a Frogger will always land there OR you can get one of your choppers from the sandy shores airfield. The tricky part is, the map in the menu and Radar has been replaced with the North Yankton one, so I hope you've memorized the map, another tip is North and South have swapped, so now the airport is North and Blaine County is south...

 

9. Fly over to where the airport is, you should see a few glitchy mountains, similar to the "Get to north yankton in GTA Online" glitch.

 

10. Fly over there and have fun!

 

EDIT: Huge thanks to @T-Fesk, you can play as the modded Franklin and use cheats.

 

Yo guys i found a way on how to use modded charachters in North Yankton and how to use hat th ther..or having everything normal with North Yankton included.
So first of all do the glitch that @Stoney0503 found..after you did that and you with Trevor just go online in invite only session and back out by pressing "O" during the loading screen..now you'll be able to switch to Franklin. .and you can use cheats and everything. There will be normal Los Santos radar .but if you go where North Yankton is. it will still be there even if there's not the radar (on the radar you'll see the normal sea like the old online glitch) so here's everything now you can use cheats to fly there easier. .speak choppers etc ..sky fall cheat. .etc..hope I'm helpful to you ..I'm new here in this forum and I'm "investigating" about "North Yankton Mystery" for a long time(like all the characters that appear in North Yankton, I'll post some photos maybe) ..just wanna say thanks to Stoney0503 for finding this glitch!

Unfortuantley, you cannot take pictures, you have the old phone with the number pad, you can only goto contacts.

 

No Veichles will spawn in North Yankton.

 

You cannot use most of the cheats (Unless you use T-Fesk's method), as the game thinks you're doing the Prologue mission, but your not...

 

If you get cops on you, the woman on the radio will even say "North Yankton" and pressing down on the D-Pad will show your location as "North Yankton"

 

You cannot use your special ability, even if its full.

 

To get rid of the filter, all you need to do is die, don't worry, North Yankton will still be there.

 

Be careful at the cemetery, Micheal's grave is not solid and same goes for the field behind it.

 

Not all of North Yankton is solid, so be careful out there!

 

You can call a Taxi and steal it, though this will only work in the front of the church.

 

This only works for Trevor (you can play as the other modded characters using T-Fesk's method)

 

Some buildings are incredibly unfinished, but are fully solid.

 

Cops will spawn.

 

Only 1 ped will spawn, and that is at the farm, he/she is sitting on a chair infront of the house, strange...

It's not strictly Single Player if you have to go online to make it work...

Thanks, I did do the glitch as a modded character, it was snowing, but no North Yankton, which is why I mentioned to leave Trevor default.

Also, we can play as Prolouge Trevor or Micheal!

You could try and get a Cargobob from either the military base or a purchased one. I don't know how.

If you wanna explore all of North Yankton, just use the Frogger found at the heli-pads nearby the docks, NY is bigger than expected, locations are very spread apart.

 

Also, the alien is still there!

Cargobob and Zentorno in North Yankton.

 

To do this, try to replay a later mission. I used "Something Sensible" and at another time, the construction assassination (because I did those after the story). Basically missions that start you as Franklin, after Trevor owns the airfield ("Lamar Down" may work, for example). Also, by doing this, your phone will be full of contacts (I could not hang out with Lamar or Jimmy, though) and you'll have access to all of Trevor's clothing as well (yes!). Have fun!

Best way is to do all the steps you had, but instead of loading Chop, you should load Something Sensible. Make sure to buy a Cargobob before hand and make Trevor spawn by his airfield. Find a car you want to take, i'm sure the Pillbox Hill Garage will still have any cars you stored and use the Cargobob to take it to North Yankton. There, you can call the Downtown Cab Co. and kill the driver when he shows up, getting a wanted level. Destroy his cab to get 2 stars and enjoy.

 

I love the pale blue overlay they put, mixed with the emptiness of NY. It's really eerie. Reminds me of the Back o' Beyond from San Andreas. I love this place, it would be perfect if we can get some sort of DLC there. Be it North Yankton Stories - a prequel DLC of Mike meet Dave and planning the Ludendorff heist or even a Zombies DLC. The place is very scary looking, being all empty with the blue tint. Add Zombies to it, and i think it would be great.

Yeah, i messed up, i forgot that you always spawn at the hospital. Regardless, if you choose Something Sensible and the save game has a Cargobob, just take the Frogger to the Sandy Shores Airfield and pick it up. I haven't tried, but judging that it saves the Cargobob, i'm sure Trevor's garage vehicles save too. As for the Downtown Cab Co, it worked for me when i was in the Cemetery, he drove right up to me. Try going to there. I'm sure cabs spawn as long as you are on Cavalry Blvd. I hope they do a DLC there, Yankton is so original. Usually we have huge cities, but NY is so rural AND it's covered in snow, which we haven't seen either (not counting that SA mission). If they were to make a DLC, i'm sure they would expand the entire map, which should include a small airport and airfield, like Grapeseed's.

The only car mined saved was a DLC car (Zentorno). However, strip club cars both saved (one was not a DLC car) and I would not be surprised if the vehicles stored at the trailer were still there (I never checked, since I didn't want to drive my Double nor Sabre in NY).

So...I tried this. Everything went as said until I switched back to T from online. First it was spawning back to his trailer while smoking, then the screen went to black and the text "Luddendorf, nine years ago" appeared and the prologue mission cutscene appeared and I'm in control of Michael now and the mission is running normally. Is that how it's supposed to happen?

Actually, no it's not. After I ended the prologue mission, the GTA V logo appeared and the screen stayed in black
