Introducing my upcoming project simulating police gameplay, San Andreas Police Department: First Response.

My previous versions have been coded as CLEO scripts, but now I aim for stability, followed by being interactive, and decided to create the mod in C++.

Completely coded by me, HeresOtis aka OJdoesIt.

 

NEW

Installation:

  • Requires Silent's ASI Loader
  • Put everything in SA root folder
  • Best to load a saved game

 

Features (ignore):

  • Go on duty and choose your player skin and patrol vehicle
  • Receive several call-outs to respond to
  • Request police backup, medical assistance, fire squad, SWAT, roadblock, and heli support
  • Perform traffic stops
  • Engage in pursuits
  • Arrest random pedestrians and suspects
  • Frisk random pedestrians and suspects
  • Use a taser on pedestrians
  • Interactive police station interiors
  • Increase/decrease your rank and unlock certain perks
  • Save your progress just like vanilla SA
  • Personalize several aspects, such as keypresses, in the INI file
  • Go on patrol with a K9 unit (dog)
  • Real-time crimes
  • Save your personal stats like rank, number of suspects killed, etc. and share with other users
  • More to enjoy

Here's a sugestion: Either change or remove the dog! The police uses german shepherds only.

And there my suggestion:can you add some sound for giving a ticket,frisk,ask to pull over the suspect,ETC ? i hope you understand because if this mod didint have sound for this mod sound like more unrealistic

 

and my question:what the limit of the rank ?

You can change the dog model yourself. I use random models for coding and testing purposes only. You can change any models to your likings.

I would like to add sound but idk where to get the right ones. Were you talking about sound effects? Can you give me some links?

You start as Unranked and work your way to top rank Commissioner. Kill suspects, arrest people, pass missions to increase rank. However, you can also decrease your rank by killing fellow officers.

 

That is an old version. That is NOT the version in this topic. But you may try that version for the time being.

I see you can choose player model from few included. I think you should use one, but with few version of uniform. For example with or without hat, bike uniform, long/short sleeves.

 

This mod replaces original SA storyline? If yes, maybe you can make your own? You know, like True Crime series or Sleeping Dogs. Comics like cutscenes(like Max Payne 1&2) would fit this mod I think :) I understand that the main goal is to have cop activities, but small storyline could be nice addon :)

 

Anyway great job and I wish you all the best :)

You can choose between SA cop models or CJ cop uniform. I will think about adding clothes accessories option.

The mod replaces the storyline, but I won't be adding my own story.

Update:

  • Added tow truck script
  • Added request prisoner transport
  • Targetted vehicle can be set as suspect
  • Personalize player ingame text
  • Tell close peds to clear the area from danger

Alright, i'm wondering if there's a mod that disables your wanted level while wearing the cop outfit in vice city...

Is this mod still active and how do I get it too work.

I dont think the mod is still active since i havent heard of any updates or newer discussions.

To get it to work you simply download it from the link provided higher in this topic and just place everything from the .zip file into your root GTA SA directory.

 

NOTE

 

You must have GTA SA 1.0 US Hoodlum EXE

and

The latest Cleo

You need to start a New game, the game will crash if loaded from a savegame

How start mod? 2016?

It's is already active from start. Take a look at the control readme. SHIFT + F2 to activate menu.
