Darude - Sandstorm Putting that song in the custom radio station in the PC version makes a lot of the missions seem much more insane when it kicks on. I like it, but it's annoying when it fills entire comment sections. I enjoy that joke, but mostly because of how angry it makes some people. For such a harmless, somewhat enjoyable tune it can cause a lot of chaos. So I ain't the only one who actually likes that song. DARUDE - SANDSTORM, nigguh! I always liked Sandstorm by Darude... I think the first time I heard it was 2003ish... then someone put a midi version in their game back in 2005 and I was hooked... Here is a good song fit for GTA III... Kudos if you remember this heres a hint... I really disliked that station, even though I kinda like Trance... it was some of the worst choices for that genre. It could've featured more European Trance, check out some musicians like Emperor, Michael Baur, Sunbeam etc. Another thing, a station playing true Techno choons like The Fix FM from GTA1 would be perfect. I dunno why, but I have a nasty feeling such station was featured in the Alpha/BETA of III. I imagine a lot of fake pop, a lot of boy bands, a lot of girl bands, and a lot of nü-metal. I honestly can't tell which would've been the worse - Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls or some band like Limb Bizkit Well, at least rap wasn't dead just yet in 2001. Green Day-Waiting System Of A Down-Aerials Queens Of The Stone Age-The Lost Art Of Keeping A Secret Rock wasn't all garbage in 2000's time frame. You got house-made pop music, I believe some songs on rise fm were done for the game, and so on. I enjoyed how they carried that over to LCS rather than licensing music from that era, like what VC and SA did. Only Head Radio, Lips 106, and Chatterbox contained original content. Pay someone to make it then license the right to use it? Makes no sense. From a budgetary perspective, they saved a ton by going with "unknowns" and Craig Conner and co.'s taste in music is pretty f*cking good IMHO, which helps too.
