Bravado Rumpo and Vapid Speedo modifications [Charles + Ifruit]

Joe Grizzly, try this. Do violent duct, steal the gang burrito and then drive it around Murrieta heights and the eastern LSC around 8am to midday. This is an untested theory but it should work to spawn one on ps3. Once you spawn one put it in your garage and then finish the mission.

 

Today is the big day where I do laps in the Paradise, Burrito and Speedo to find what lap times each will do around cutting corners.

ill give it a shot! i did just send a request on dupe/request thread tho since ive failed looking for a couple hrs today so i might not have to lol. i appreciate the help!

 

just to double check.. if anyone can confirm.

nothing but PAINT sticks on:

If you can find a modder on ps3 (and there a heaps around). But find a friendly one he can probably paint and fully modify one for you after you've insured it.

 

I randomly met a modder who was at LSC building cars for people on one of my last days on ps3, pulled up in a stock sentinel. Drove off in a fully modded one. Didn't spend a cent . I still have the car for sentimental purposes to remember a nice non violent modder.

yea bro!! modders are alot of fun to game with if they arent abusing thr power.. its just the assholes that takes advantage and abuses it thats makin them look bad.. is all luck of a draw when it comes to modders in random lobbies

Hey !, been a busy day, but I discovered Cutting corners didn't have any option to race vans (neither do 99.9% of published races) so I had to remake it for vans.

 

I feel like this is going to be a very fun thing. A track you know for the Vans you love. I'm already imagining seeing all your guys custom vans out there racing each other, it'll be bulk fun. So long as no one brings a Bison (maybe just for comparison) the racing should be very close. Just from driving a modified Speedo and a stock Paradise I think the Paradise might actually be faster when modified. It'll be so close. Can you shoot a MG out of a Paradise or Burrito?

Paint, Wheels, maybe Armour stick to a normal Rumpo, no performance mods.

woo woo wooah, whats this.. I got my insured Burrito out, did my custom lsc order and I can't drive it into the LSC.. problem..

 

Oops, I didn't know about the in the garage mod with the cost theory. Got it sorted although I did learn another lesson... Don't have 4 Burritos and only 1 insured.. Now I have a fully modified Burrito that isn't insured.!. And a stock insured one. Hopefully I get the insurance glitch first go or I'll have to put that down to rather expensive experience.

 

Time to blow up some excess Burritos.

I'm trying to mod my clean Rumpo but no order is coming thourgh... Which ID should I use? That one of the deludamol or the Weazel? Or has the clean Rumpo ist own ID?

I used the Weazel one, worked for me.

 

Tested all my vans for racing by the way. Very little between them, I bet if you set the track to rain, all the vans would be equal and the bison would be also. In the dry the bison is quickest then speedo, then burrito and paradise but very little difference.

Now you can store Weazel Rumpos, players couldn't even just a couple weeks ago. But then we started seeing more color options for Rumpos on the streets and tried to stow a Weazel Van like a week ago and tada! No we can!

It will be a happy day for me when I can finally store and modify a Lost gang Burrito.

 

In fact, I think that Rockstar should make it part of an MC-themed DLC. Make the gang Burrito storable and customizable, add more motorcycle gang-themed clothes, a proper black leather motorcycle jacket, make the Sovereign be fully modifiable (including paint, taking off the US flag stripes), and last but not least: bring the Dukes o' Death to online.

not sure if its just me or if anyone else noticed but seems that changing the plate (yankton) through ifruit + charles reverts the wheels back to stock on SOME cars. anyone else notice this?

 

list of cars that reverted back to stock wheels:

- ruiner

- surano (not the suv.. the convertable)

- turismo

- adder

 

i need to recheck my other character but it keeps giving me the timed out loading session ... no idea why tho!

If your wheels are changing then there's something wrong in your process. They're completely different codes. Id suggest changing 15 to -1 when you do it or at least double check the 15 value before executing

im not changing anythig besides the plates tho? every other cars i did are fine.. thats why i was surprised to see my wheels being different when i double checked them on all my cars. is it possible that the process somehow changes itself during the order? i only order different background plates when changing to yankton..

You may be only wanting to change plates, but every setting is resent with every order so if 15 becomes 0 somehow then they'll change to default. Also just fyi, I your only doing plates then they'll apply without having to go to customs. So just stand outside and do the plate orders.

So i recently acquired and insured (shhh) a burrito and i was just using ifruit without charles and i could put in orders for paint, engine, turbo etc. I put in two orders which both went through automatically. but now i keep getting the message that i have to go to lsc to get my order. That happens when the cost value isn't high enough to cover the mods.

Yeah, this happens to me if I just change only the plates. It makes getting custom plates VERY EXPENSIVE - having to fix the wheels after the fact. But if I do at least one major upgrade with the plates, it's almost not going to effect the wheels at that point.

thanks for that info! ill be sure to check 15 everytime from now. i never had to head in to LSC except for one time out of 15+ car plates changed where my sultan had previously green tint and it ask me to head to LSC when i switched the plates which resulted in tint reverting to dark/limo tint more noob mistake.. but you live and you learn haha

I'd usually not have any "15,#" item at all. And if my order said "processed" instead of "go to LSC", I'd expect the wheels to be jacked or reset to stock. The Speedo was the exception as I had a wheel value in there.

you adjust the cost to cover the mod and change the order #

example:

you change the cost from $80K > $100k then you would also change the order # from 123456 > 123457 (adding one everytime you increase cost)

 

I'd usually not have any "15,#" item at all. And if my order said "processed" instead of "go to LSC", I'd expect the wheels to be jacked or reset to stock. The Speedo was the exception as I had a wheel value in there.

same message i got! "processed" costing $300 dollars and never went to LSC but somehow still managed to change the wheel to stock. only time i ever changed my 15 value was when doing my speedo/mariahi which came out perfectly how i wanted (el jefe rims/five sevens)

So i did some testing and im pretty sure this is a 100% method. This is from my experience with just using the ifruit app not using fiddler or charles or any of that fancy stuff.

 

1. Go into the garage you have the burrito in

2. Drive out with a different car other than the burrito

3. Put an order in ifruit (you dont need charles)

4. The total of the order must cost over $10,000

5. Confirm the order and in about 10 seconds you should get a text in game saying your order has been processed.

6. Drive back in and check out the new mods on your burrito

 

Also, if you are so inclined you can currently use this http://gtaforums.com/topic/756577-sell-cars-thats-cant-sell-for-50k/to insure the burrito.

I decided to drive my Speedo eastward along Route 68 to better my chances on finding a Burrito. I waited at the fruit stand until 11a game time. Then took off towards the dishes. This is what I found:

same with me first time. dont worry you can go to that spot by the satellite dishes and get another one guaranteed around 11:00 in game time. what i did was practiced the insurance trick with some elegys while i was waiting for the clock to come back around.

I collected Burritos from around the eastern city LSC once I had one. I burned through a couple getting the insurance glitch right. Finally when I did get the insurance glitch done it was still a bit slow and my van didn't reappear when the processed sign came up. But on the blue circle it said I still owned a burrito. So in the crisses situation I ran out of the garage and called my mechanic for the burrito. Then sat in it until the elegy was delivered. Then drove the burrito back in and I had an insured burrito

 

 

At that point I should have blown up all my uninsured burritos because I accidentally modified an uninsured one lol. Which I then lost trying to insure..

 

 

So THEN I blew all the non insured ones up and modded my last one which was the insured one. It was a long learning path but finally all sorted.
