the ironic one Posted July 27, 2014 Share Posted July 27, 2014 I've faced an annoying glitch. I remember when I was playing GTA 2 years ago I collected all wang cars and saved the game. When I loaded the game all wang bonus vehicles disappeared but after collecting a GT-A1 they appeared once again. Now I'm playing GTA 2 again, It's a new version v9.6, I've collected all GT-A1, saved the game and loaded but all bonus vehicles disappeared and there are no GT-A1 to collect in order to respawn them. I've installed 11.43 and 11.44 patches but it doesn't work. Have you ever had the same problem with v9.6 or newer? Is there a solution to fix it up? Are you sure that the version 9.6 has this problem? I have the 11.44 and the 9.6 (9.6 on different computers and operating systems), but I only have this problem on 11.44. It's been changed by the publisher in my country and the game itself is sold as a part of the trilogy with GTA III, GTA I and GTA London. It's a pity that R* classics version is not available any more and I can't buy it on steam. P.S. Why is Kill Frenzy 20# completion impossible? And do you mean it's impossible for 11.44? Molotok Posted July 28, 2014 Share Posted July 28, 2014 (edited) Ahh, but you can easily find the original R* version using Google, I´m unfortunately not allowed to post links here, got deleted last time. About KF #20 in Residential: You need to destroy 20 police cars with an Electro Gun in just 60 seconds without chain explosions, so you need to park the cars with some space inbetween. In original 9.6 version you could gather 16 easily destroyable police cars with the Wang Car Bonus glitch (recollecting the GTA-A1s after saving) + police cars from the stations. Without it you can just collect 6 from police stations + 2 from collecting all GTA-A1s and 4 land roamers from the "Tanks-Giving" mission which makes it 12 or 15 if you can somehow destroy the tanks too. But even then you would need to piss off police and get 5 extra police cars. Then you need to damage those cars before you start the Frenzy and hope the one you stole won´t dissapear and don´t forget the cops will be all around you wasting your time while you try to destroy those cars in that short amount of time... so pretty much impossible without this glitch and yeah i meant the new unofficial patched versions like 11.44. And Wang Cars isn't the only problem. In the second district, game often crashes which means that I'd had to approach one mission many times. P.S. Many thanks for your tips on KF20# Molotok. Btw I made a whole guide on how to complete all KFs with videos, should be a topic about that somewhere here in this forum and also there is still a bug in the classics version where your save game gets corrupted if you save after completing a trailer car KF, which means you have to do those three at last and in one go. And are there any other serious bugs in the R* Classics version that may prevent me from achieving 100% completion? Molotok Posted July 31, 2014 Share Posted July 31, 2014 The bug applies to both unfortunately. I never tried the fix, but just did the three trailer Frenzies in one go before finishing the areas. But if this patch works of course it will make things easier. Besides that there shouldn´t be anything else to stop you getting 100%. Some tokens are somewhat hard to get, but there´s this trick: with this you can basically fly everywhere. It works with Shotgun, Dual Pistols, Silenced Machine Gun and Flamethrower, it´s only important that one of those guns needs to be right before the Molotov Cocktails/Grenades. It was on the top of the roof and I killed my protagonist in order to get this one.
