I think those who paid the $150 should have exclusive items. Though I wouldn't mind the chance to buy the Carbon RS, I still think that those that forked out the extra money should get those in game extras.

Yes they should be added, all it is is a change of some code from false to true or yes to no anyway. Im sure once they are added ppl will drive them around a little and then we will never see them again. Think Albany Alpha.

Just use modio and grab a save with them parked in the interior garages And to be honest you CE guys can calm down. I get you paid extra for content you never use (ever seen the countless threads about these cars that feature CE owners saying how sh*t they are?), but do nothing but bitch at those who want the opportunity to get them also?

 

Grow up. You chose to pay to get them (early), it's not our problem if we get a chance to get them cheaper a year later.

also, I'd like to point out that the "collector" portion is the physical stuff. the vehicles & weapons are most likely locked to you system, since that's where you entered the code for access.

if your PS/XBOX died today, would you still have those items? probably not.

Weapons are not locked, even if you don't have downloaded the pack but somehow have the weapons you can use them. The cars on the other hand, if you delete the dlc pack cars will appear as invisible in your garage, and if called from mechanic, will disappear.

TBH, if you paid $150 principally for three extra vehicles and two extra weapons then I think you were ripped off regardless.

 

Well said. No one even drives the Collectors Edition cars anyway, I've literally never seen anyone with them since day 1 of online. Unless it's like that thing on Forza where you can't see the actual DLC car if you don't have that DLC. It's just like a pure black normal car.

 

I personally think we should be able to buy it as DLC one day. People really can't moan. It's just like me buying a game for £50 on release day then the next year someone goes out and buys it for £20. And what about people who spend hundreds on cash cards? I bet some people spend a lot on them and they won't get the Collectors Edition stuff.

Majority of the content owners didn't actually buy the editions. It was gotten mostly by people in the DNS days as some unlocked the content. So what's the point in that "we paid x amount" argument when many more got it free?

 

The Xbox One, PS4 and PC editions are coming soon. They haven't announced any editions for them and the release is a few months away at best and November at worse. The content will likely be DLC on those platforms that is if they don't come for the game by default which is much more likely to drive sales.

They took away the CE cars that were glitched into garages a long time ago. I'm pretty sure only CE players have them now.

 

But it was fun while it lasted!
