Classic And American Muscle Car Thread

Recommended Posts

I'll put each of my vehicles in their own spoiler tags to save space on the page.

Buccaneer:

Blade:

Gauntlet:

I put exempt plates on it because I like to use this as a pursuit vehicle:

Phoenix (I based it off of the Trans Am 2000 from Redline):

Sabre Turbo:

Buffalo S (not in the muscle category but it's still a muscle car to me):

Tornado (early American muscle IMO):

all that and no Vigero?

Used to have one, but I lost it to a cloud save problem about a week or two ago. I just remembered I still have the pictures floating around so here they are:

My favorite muscle car at the moment. Normally, I would not use custom tires, but I made an exception for this one. It gives it a more classic look :)

A few more of my muscle cars..

The Buccaneer... My goto racer in this class.. use to be the Gauntlet but i found that to be to predictable, i much prefer the handling on this baby..

The Vigero : My Favorite muscle car. Love the looks (especially the big ol'exhausts) and this car handles like a dream... A quality car that you don't see driven that often by others..

0_0.jpg0_0.jpg0_0.jpg

And the last one for now.. The Voodoo : Love this rusty old bucket, another great muscle car, i feel like i should be in Thunderbirds (the old puppet series) driving around it this car.. Top looks, shame that there isn't a clean version tho, but still doesn't stop me liking it..

Great cars, not the fastest, maybe not the prettiest. but quality on a stick anyway..

Wish my Snapmatic was working, would post a picture of my Tornado. By the way, OP, you know that your Tornado looks exactly like the one from Christine, by Stephen King, right?

Christine did not have a blower or chrome fender/wheel well covers on the rear though. Not correcting you to be an ass, you just happened to say exactly and well....that movie is why I have one. ;) I wonder though, how many people actually know what you are talking about. That movie was made 30+ years ago.

So I guess I shouldn't hold much hope for my movie reference, which is working on 50 years ago....

@morrami2000 why the modern wheels?

I just like them more than the oldschool rims.

It's the low profile tires that really don't fit,

Lol. Perhaps getting rid of the stripe and painting the car what the stripe is currently may help ;)

There both the same color, pulled the RGB values off a Highland Green paint chip online.

Happens on my Sabre too when the light hits it right you can see the stripe

I dunno about you, but modern wheels and low pro's are looking pretty good on classics these days... of course, that's just my opinion. Yours may be different...

Depends on the car I think... as far as classic muscle is concerned, Sabre GT looks ridiculous with modern wheels imo... too big for the car. Same for the Picador... but the rest look great with modern wheels. Some look good with both. I dunno, just my opinion...

not exactly, it's all personal taste. i prefer rims that are true to the vehicle, but not always. sometimes a different style of rim fits better for the look someone is going for. like the muscles i would not put low profiles on, but the tuners can go either way. the one thing i do not like to see is off road vehicles with low profile street wheels. to some it looks dope, but to me it looks dumb, but that's just my taste.

No. I tried to make a Sabre Turbo like the one seen in GTA VC.

Had a few muscle cars but no snapmatics of them.

Sabre Turbo was my second car and I still got it.

Looks pretty nice all blacked out.

The vigero is my favorite muscle car. So much fun! I have a matte orange one with a red pearl (from when you still do that)
