Wayne Daniels
Dayz people kill each other to survive and steal their stuff. GTA:O people kill each other because they are bored.
Fireman
It's free-for-all and yes you should shoot on sight, almost all zombie games are currently like that.
Gdog
you shouldn't be comparing both games. totally different from each other.
BLOOD
GTA:O:Everyone wants "MONEY" "FINE CARS" and "RICH APARTMENTS" while in DayZ it the same except you have to "SURVIVE" and "KILL or be KILLED".
Killerdude
Contrary to popular belief, DayZ is actually just a Glitch simulator, because you won't actually be playing the game, you'll just be suffering from f*ck loads of bugs.

Actually eventhough there are alot of bugs, the current builds (i think last couple of months) are fine. If you follow up the development process and the bug fixes/changelogs you know what you should prepare for and what you should watch out for. Great game and the experience gets improved upon with each build. Killerdude
