faustianbargain Posted January 4, 2003 Share Posted January 4, 2003 There are a few places in the game where you can enter the underside of Vice City and fly beneath the city and water. Two of the easiest entrance points are listed at the bottom of this post. If you fly too low or too high you will be dropped back above ground so it is better to have the sea sparrow helicopter while attempting these tricks in case you fly too low or high when you are under water, you will just land on the top instead of sinking and drowning. Underwater you can get a VERY clear view of the shipwrecks and submarine, you can even fly through them for closer inspection. The rocks formations are solid. You can land your helicopter on them and get out and walk around like normal if you are not too close to the surface of the water. You can use the sniper rifle to zoom in and get a very clear view of the fish, sharks and turtles floating around. You can shoot up at cars, boats and helicopters. You will notice there are porn ads and leaves blowing around just like above water. Rain will also fall under water. You will see some birds flying too. If you get a wanted level and a police boat is near, the cop will jump out to try and pursue you and drown. A helicopter will drop down the swat team and they will slide right into the water and die. Notice that there is two layers to the water, the top surface effect and then a lower texture so it looks like the water is deep and has a bottom, you can float right through this layer though. 1.) Fly a helicopter to the front of the same hotel that you went up in for the Marthas mugshot mission where you took pictures of Candy Suxxx and Shrub. It is labeled Vice Point Langer on the front. Take your helicopter and fly it directly up to the front door and under the front awning. Once there, fly straight up. You will fly through a non-solid roof, and be inside the hotel. From there, fly downward and you are now under the city. 2.) Carefully fly the sea sparrow into the pool room underneath the backside of Vercetti mansion. On the Bridge leaving the second big Island going onto prawn Island, on the right, there is a little hole. Its just a small shortcut, but I was going full throttle on a PCJ running from the cops. I went down it and couldnt stop while in the air. I crashed into the wall and fell off the bike into another dimension. About 10 seconds later I was back at the wall facing the other way. alastair Posted January 6, 2003 Share Posted January 6, 2003 hey i did somethin like that by accident, no vehicle though, it was in little haiti i think, next to one of tha lil houses, i had a 6 star wanted level an low health so i was tryin to hide like a little b*tch, lol... i went round tha side of a house to one of tha little things that stick out tha side (dont know how to describe it) ummm, like, ya know, tha little wall things that stick out, i hid behind it an as i was runnin into it i got stuck in tha wall, then next thing i know im falling from tha sky but with tha city above me instead of below... then i just appeared flattened an dead in tha middle of tha road...
