hey guys, i have problem "rotor blades" have airplanes: "Skimmer" and "Stunt" and "Dodo" and "Nevada" :(
have helicopters: "Maverick" and "Sparrow" :(
how to fix this all "airplanes" and "helicopters"
help me, pls!!

Do you mean the alpha rendering bug of the rotors?

Download the fixed vehicles pack in the first post by JohnnyK. May also mix the new ones from this thread to the pack.

NOTE that don't forget to use also the Silent Patch, which gives back the blur effect for the rotors like in ps2.

Sorry for my mistake: turn out that the wrong rotation of the Slamvan hood parts is caused by the wrong rotation of the ug_bonnet dummy in slamvan.dff, not by the parts dummies :barf::bored:. TEST: try damaging your slamvan bonnet to switch to "bonnet_dam" model and you should see that the part tuned on it (Slamin or Chromer hood) is incorrectly rotated; I.E: for the original parts, they appear with correct rotation. :blink:

 

Download this mod again, just replace 2 dffs, which fix just the wrong placement (they're now re-centered to the main axis).

And (must) read the readme file again, there're some little changes.

Be soon I will also upload a fixed slamvan.dff to make this mod work perfectly. :colgate::)

 

 

 


*EDIT:

OK, as I said, now I give you a fixed Slamvan.dff which has been fixed following things:

1) Slightly moved the petrolcap dummy to the right position.

2) Corrected the wrong rotation of ug_dummy in bonnet model (OF COURSE!). :lol:

3) Corrected the wrong UV mapping at some places of chassis mesh (see pics) - I think that most of SA vehicles have this bug: pic1 & pic 2, but not sure. So tell me if you found something wrong... . :)

Lol, the balls on this guy. You spoke English fine when you doubleposted, then you reverted back to your native language to taunt him, now you just copied that off who knows where.

so let me get this straight...

is this mod obsolete now.? none of the fixes discussed here in the early pages are available now..

so like what, do we have to use this instead..? or are these fixes were meant to be used on top of that mod..? the author mentioned "PS2 material" in last few pages..


it looks like the map fixes mod criteria all over agian (also from the same author)

the author and another person started it. then the other person just started another thread like PS2 map + map fixes.. now in this thread they saying that the previous mod is the outdated version of this same mod.. but we have to use the ps2 map of course..

these original mods were looked very promising.. then all of a sudden after these [Link1 Link2 Link3] threads, the original mods look like just abandoned & ruined..

i don't meant to be rude. i just want to know why the hell on earth there is only ps2 love for san andreas.. :facedesk: is san andreas was that much shame on pc version.. wasn't there anybody else who like to have the pc version as it is get fixed..

So, what The Hero did was just porting the vehicles from the PS2 and XBOX versions of the game without touching the models themselves.

 

The aim of my project is to fix the bugs on the PC models and give them PS2 like materials (PC ones are still wrong anyway). Not all of the models available have PS2 materials, in fact some are still made with ZModeler 2 while the last link I kept updating was the one with removed specular from parts that should not have it and these models were done with 3DSMAX.

 

And to your last statement, the fact that we are mostly doing PS2 like mods is because R* f*cked up at porting their .DFFs to PC.

 

Anyway, if the links are dead, I'll try to update them as soon as possible.

I hope this is the best FV pack at the moment.

This pack was repacked by me, mixed from following:

- JOhnnyK/F1.08's FV pack + Blackbird88's FV pack + FV pack got from here + my Fixed Slamvan hood mod (you know).

 

Fully contains enough all neccessary files; all recently latest ones were mixed in and replaced to the old ones as well.

more details see in readme files.

*EDIT: the Hydra & Barracks in this pack are colorable models, so if you still want to get their default color as they were, open your carcols.dat file and add (or edit if existed) these lines (in both col & car sections. Should add in alphabet order):

 

col130,115,100  # 127 - this is default military brown of Patriot & Barracks. Add this line at end of col section.carbarracks, 127,0, 19,0, 47,0, 102,0, 120,0hydra, 13,13, 15,15
