The game couldn't start (Xbox 360)

Hi guys,

I was playing online mission, and whilst I was flying in a jet over Fort Zancudo (Martin mission) my game froze, I restarted the Xbox and when trying to load the game again I just get a pop-up:

"The game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again".

I never downloaded the game in the first place, I have my original two discs and I have installed the game from my disc. Everything worked fine since september 2013, this is the first time I have this sort of error.

But the game did crash on me before.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

There might be a problem with the console software update. To solve this problem, try clearing a portion of the update, and then download the update again. Here’s how:
On your console, go to Settings hub, and then select System.
Select Storage.
On your controller, press the following button sequence:
Press the left bumper.
Press the right bumper.
Press the X button.
Press the left bumper.
Press the right bumper.
Press the X button.
When prompted, select Yes.
After the console restarts, sign in using an Xbox LIVE gamertag, and download the update again.

 

But it didn't help.
