Bounty33
I want to hear from you because I haven't been able to get this to work. I tried purchasing a cargobob by lagging my connection with Unicorn and upon confirmation of entering PS store, the game will not let me choose a character. This worked for me in previous patch so that is why I ask. For the title, I meant to say patched not glitched. sultangris
they spawn at every helipad, if its not there just take what is and fly a block or two away and then back taking whats there and you will get a cargobob at any helipad in at least 5 tries if not sooner. theres pretty much always one at the airport on the opposite side of the lake from sandy shores, but it will appear anywhere that helicopters spawn if you just take whatever spawned and go far enough away to make a new one spawn, usually a block or two. iLikeDrivinInMyTruck
^^^ yeah, completely different than owning one and being able to call for it and drive to pick it up. Buzzard was the best purchase I'll ever make in the game, Cargobob could be second best in my eyes. Buzzard opens up so many missions, and so could the bob. sultangris
calling a bob in a mission doesnt work for some reason, they make you go get the one at the military base and the mission wont progress till you do.
elfoam
I used a lag switch to purchase it on the previous patch, was not easy but a bargain at 200k. I'd guess it still works but it took me a couple hours last time so haven't tried again on another character. You don't know chopper tail until you bob it out of there with your mate in the drivers seat. So much more fun. If you own it you can use it in missions, the game supports owning one and it has a price. Just not sure why it's not listed on the online website (yet). Probably coming at some stage like the Buffalo mk2. Edited July 20, 2014 by elfoam

Probably coming at some stage like the Buffalo mk2. you cant use it for any mission requiring a cargobob, cause i have it and i tried, why would u use it for any other mission? its slow as f*ck and would take 10x as long as doing it the right way, lol in fact literally the only use ive found for it is to steal players cars from the impound and set them on buildings or drop them in the water to destroy them without paying, and to get tanks from the military base to bring to the city and watch them kill people with stars, lol! what have you thought of to do with it? You can take the buzzard and then fly and pick up your Cargobob you have to actually get in the cargobob at the base to progress with the mission, ive not tried calling mine after ive done that to see if delivering it with my own worked cause ive never wrecked the cargobob from the base and didnt need to, lol! at any rate, not any other use for it in missions unless you just wanna f*ck around and dont care about how long it takes but i do that stuff in free mode, im in missions to get paid as fast as i can,
elfoam
You can't use your own cargobob in place of a mission objective bob.. But you guys didn't understand what I'm saying. You use it to extract cars/trucks etc. I mentioned it's a faster way to deliver the van in chopper tail but there are many other uses for it. In chopper tail I call it from the look out. Drive the buggy down the hill, get in the bob. Storm the meth house. Pick up the van and drop it at Trevor's. sultangris
i thought you stole a granger with equipment in it from chopper tail, but anyway a vehicle on the ground will travel faster than a cargobob at any rate, so i dont see the point.
iLikeDrivinInMyTruck
Yeah, sure, because a vehicle on the ground can go in a straight line over trees, houses, and streams. Air vehicles are always faster, unless you are following a road.
elfoam
Lol, I gave up arguing, let him drive on the ground. Any luck getting your bob?. I might see if I can do it on 1.15 on another character just to see if its still possible. iLikeDrivinInMyTruck

Bounty33
Nope still no luck buying a cargobob. I used a lagswitch in previous patch and would get sp character in mp everytime. R* did something in this patch to prevent this from happening I suppose. Jeez, why don't they just let us have the Bob? Not like there is an unfair advantage to the player by using it. elfoam
I can't even get the wheel to switch to sp up at the moment.. Seems like they really tightened up the code since the last patch.
