A Question for Legit Players Who Grind

mmm chocolate

Because I can guarantee that I have 10x more fun going through a bunch of random jobs than you guys do by glitching.

None of this 'same mission over and over bullsh*t'.

2 million doesn't take 2 hour, well didn't

it was way less than that, depending on how far you live from an LSC I geuss.

but yeah I don't really get why some1 wouldn't glitch either.

to me it just seems like a good chance of getting the pesky business of making money out of the way so I can just play the game.

I'm one of those kind of guys that could, but at the same time -can't- glitch/cheat money in. Im an honest kind of person that guilts themself easily over even the smallest thing.

I think that you aren't even supposed to grind missions. That's why Rockstar buffed up Coveted. They don't want you to grind missions. They also don't want you to glitch.

Because glitching is the easy way out. That and there is nothing in this game worth glitching money for.

it's strange to me to read people saying "I glitch so I can just play the game"

I just play the game, & there's no need to glitch.

BUT...

I'm not the kind of player that needs everything. the Hipster update was the first time I bought a DLC car.

Having a life. When you spend an hour a week playing the game your not gonna spend it glitching or grinding

Lol seems contradicting

If you have a life, you wouldn't spend it doing stuff you think are tedious like missions/tasks.

Think of that hour as investing for the next hour you play, it'll be more fun.

Also OP is alittle wrong. It takes like only 3 minutes to get 2 million lol. But I see what you were getting at

I was aiming at my own experience with the glitch guys. :p

I didn't had an adder to sell, the entity was my only super and hookers don't go in the entity, so I had to do it with the Massacro.

It's the principle though.

I will never grind. It's boring and a waste of time. I just wanna run around having shootouts with people and blow stuff up. It's pretty expensive to do this but an hour or two of glitching seems to last me 2-3 months, and I'll trade two hours for two months of doing what I want all day.

R* doesnt ban people. If they take my money I'll do whatever new glitch is out. If they ban me, I'll make a new account and money glitch there. I win, grinders lose

What does the game consist of when you have an endless supply of money. Just freeroam pvp? Sounds kinda boring. I dont grind missions but I enjoy playing them and meeting people.

This, and repeating the same mission over and over again is not fun in the least for me. Playing the game is the point, the money you earn is from playing the game. If I grind instead of playing the game and get a bunch of money, whats the point? Just to show off how much money I have? It's a video game, I don't need it for self esteem. I've managed to get to a triple digit rank and get a few million bucks and about 16 cars of varying value without any glitching or grinding, and I work 50 hours/week at my job in real life and maybe play the game 4 or 5 hours a week. Grinding is just for noobs who are more interested in showing off their e-peen than having fun playing the game.

To each, their own -it's a game. However, for myself, I've been 100% legit since launch and view all these LSC money glitches as "cheating". If you want to do it, fine; but it would ruin the game for me if I didn't care about my money anymore.

i feel the same way as you do.

Money is the point in the game to get what u want. if u get the money for doing no work, the point of the hole game wil be gone. if feels alot better to know u earned a car ower long time work then 2min glitching/ cheating :)

Play legit? LOL. I wonder how Rockstar would explain "legit" to me other than "buy Cash Cards"

I played legit with a dude. Grind craps that's not even worth my time for some 'legit' money which Rockstar themselves dislike this 'legit' method of making money.

And yeah, I rarely glitch and when I do, I stack the greens as much as I need.

Thought I would add my thoughts, tad long but here's the just of it.

I don't glitch cause I've learn about something called delayed gratification. Other then that . I don't feel like I'm actually earning anything if I was choose to take advantage of such things. Been playing since GTA online launched and when I took a three month break from GTA online around January and came back. I was rank 232 with about 30 mill in jobs made. I hadn't even grinded RR yet and did a variety of high rank jobs then do freeroam to toss things up . Now since I've been back, I've made around 60 mill since I got back and am now rank 559. Why did I do it ? Was just a case of finding the best "legit" way I could think of leveling up in a short time without abusing the game. Now, I've literally bought everything and enjoy the game just as much if not a little more. Money has barely any purpose at this moment. But on the possible bright side hopefully over the course of the comming months rockstar will start giving people that "incentive" I keep hearing about to lvl up cause of what unlock able things will be available for the people who decided to continue lvl up after 120 at a fast pace of some kind. I grind RR cause its rewarding in a legit matter. It's damn boring at times grinding and its not something i do for fun, but its rewarding. When I need a break from RR I do whatever the f*ck I want in Freeroam. Then once I've had fill, its back to the grind. I don't recommend it for the people with short attention span or are actually sitting down to have a chill day of gaming, but it gets the job done. Tldr: I don't get satisfaction by instantly gaining sh*t I didn't actually work to earn, plain and simple. If you feel justified or ok with glitching, go ahead. I just feel like I'm cheating and defeats the purpose of why I play. Grinding RR besides glitching seems to be the fastest way to gain money and rp, I do it in freeaim for the added rp and usually always carry new players or people who started a second character which in turn I get more rp for not going solo and someone else benefits. It's a win win

Mission Grinders don't do it for the money in most cases. Some do it for skills and RP, others do it for just hanging out with crews and friends.

...a better question would be:

"Why do you glitch money all day...then turn around and say youre bored??"

Legit is biding your time and not wasting what you earn. Cash cards are not needed but please feel free to spread your conspiracy theory.

What is keeping you from glitching?

For starters, the best money glitch in GTA Online history stopped working 20 hours ago.

No offense, but you could of at least used the Enter button to make separate paragraphs.

I agree with what you're saying. This is the "Me Me I want it and I want it NOW" generation. I enjoy the security of knowing that I didn't do anything wrong to get my nest egg, so I don't have to worry about anyone taking it.

However, what the hell are the weekend warriors supposed to do? If I want to, I can play GTAO 24/7, but people with jobs and school can't do this. If I had limited time I would be killing hookers and duping cars too, because I wouldn't want to waste the only time I had to play the game on RR or Coveted.

BTW and totally off topic: Why are people grinding RR/Coveted? You can do Crystal Clear Out III with a buzzard TWICE in the time it takes to do either of those missions. You're guaranteed 2000 RP solo on AA or 2300 RP on FA. So even the RP is better than RR/Coveted. Thus, you can earn $21,000 and 4000RP in the same time it takes to do RR/Coveted. To me, it's a no-brainer.

I got in trouble with Big daddy Rockstar when I glitched and used DNS codes and they reset my level and took my cash; so after that I stopped glitching and stuck to buying shark cards. Also they are half price so I would get on that as soon as possible.

I for one miss the swing set glitch from IV...

Honestly I have a life and can only dedicate an hour or two every once-and-a-while to GTA:O. If some random sends me an invite to RR then I might take it, but usually its some nard with a pink rocket launcher and a chrome adder or some other super car with dollar sign wheels. With the exception of the gifting craze a while back I've only recently came close to 1 mil. With an apartment, a garage out in the country, a heli, and a couple select cars and bikes, I feel that's pretty much all I need. Maybe purchase a plane or DLC car at some point, but that's it. I just have fun doing the missions, even the lower rank ones. Doing it solo is like a SP experience without the special perks, so I don't mind.

I've never glitched any money, playing my way up to level 135 provided all the money I've ever needed. If there were multiple purchables that cost 5, 10, 20 million then I might agree the payouts are too low but there aren't. Theres no real reason I would ever need millions and millions of cash, unless they add something to save up for.

Are players that want obscene amounts of money in this game poor IRL? Compensating are you? Its just a game after all. .

The fact that you will eventually be banned for glitching. I don't want to join the society degrading crowd who glitches.

Rockstar has yet to ban people who are keeping it a low profile. Those who go all the way to glitch something like 200+ million, I understand.

I already know the answer but... source?

What is keeping you from glitching? Like, I don't understand. You have the ability to earn 2 million in only 2 hours. Why do you insist on grinding missions, and earn 2 million in a much longer time period?

It's a honest question to the legit players who grind missions!

I understand if you just play the game as is. I did too before the hooker glitch, and after the early LSC glitches.

I'm too much of a Fanboy to start glitching

Plus i'm extremely paranoid and if I get banned I don't think it'll end well.

Where is your source that people got banned? I've seen it for myself, and experienced it for myself that if you keep a low profile, you aren't getting on their radar.

Dont understand, heh? I guess youre playing GTA or Online wrong for that matter. To answer your question:

1. I dont "grind". Money making is just a by product from the fun originating from the random missions/races/deathmatches I do.

2. By glitching for money, you wont have the satisfaction of having earned the cash.

3. I do not want to be banned or reset.

4. Youre essentially decreasing the time of gameplay and fun by glitching, as it speeds up the amount of cash you obtain, which in turn the quicker you are able to afford everything and by then once you reached maximum "success", all thats left to do are fr, dms and races for the fun aspect of the game. At that point, you are gonna be complaining about the money earned aspect of jobs and would of wished R* would of focused more on the fun. At that point, yall are going to start glitch fun into the game (bad joke). Point is...game is going to go by fast if you have millions and billions which will you leave bored quicker in a shorter period of time less than to us legit players.

5. A billion more reasons.

You dont see what im talking about now, but in a few days or weeks, youll see what im talking about and will regret the days of your glitching.

Thats why. You understand now? The 4 reasons i mentioned are the most important ones which the other legit players should most likely agree on.

after the last update put me in the poor house I set a task for myself.

I play about 6 or 7 missions in order to make 100k a day. after I reach my "goal" I just do whatever. sometimes it's more mission. sometimes it's just screwing around.

I prefer the grind over the glitch because it's honest & having everything in an instant ruins the value. (for me)

This is exactly what I do. 100k a day keeps the debt collector away. I'll be on 4.2mil after tomorrow. Back to where I was a week ago when I bought the liberator.
