Modders are more prevalent since 1.15 (Not the Ferriswheel mods)

Since 1.15 I have noticed a sh*t tonne more modders and lobbies ended by modders.

 

I am not talking about the ferriswheel/UFO/Meteor mod, hell im not even talking about God mode anymore, because most of the mods still used we have already seen before December, that includes the bodybuilder & spawning on people mod.

 

My feelings on modders will never change, because they continually prove my point, less than 1% of that modding community actually does some good to gaming, while the rest of them are f*cking cockroaches that ruin it for the legitimate gamers, probably because they were spawn killed by griefers before the mods, & decided they are still butthurt & that's how they'll get revenge.

 

Anyway, in the last week alone, I'd say around 70% of the lobbies I have been in for over 30 minutes have ended the same way with one of two outcomes:

 

- Being unable to expand the mini-map, with no blips on the mini-map & no blips on the main map & unable to kill anybody as well as no access to the inventory/select menu.

 

- Being instantly killed wherever I am on the map from whatever vehicle I am in and unable to respawn or quit the session. This is the worst as it completely disables the start/select buttons, as well as everything else & the only way out is either shut the game off/ Account management sign out/or receive an invite from a friend. Also being in passive mode BEFORE this happens will make you immune, but its more luck than anything.

 

I don't know if one of the "main modders" released an update menu or something & that's why I am seeing it so often, but I never saw these mods before 1.15, so whether it unlocked something else they were able to use, or if they finally just hit the motherload & have now got to the point where it will be GTA IV all over again, I don't know.

 

I am expecting the "Respawn always on fire or always in the air falling to death" mods to follow very soon.

 

Is this the point where basically public sessions become a No-go area?

 

I read an article recently stating how they are going to put measures in to prevent modding on the PS4, I think it was from Rockstar, but I actually forgot, if I find it I will edit the post, but either way there doesn't seem to be sh*t we can do about these cockroaches on the PS3 version.

 

To all those people who are "Pro Mods" look at what these f*cks are doing to the gaming community, I could rattle off a sh*t load of games which have been destroyed by modders over the years & ended up being a game where a modder was flying around 1 shot killing everyone.

Because 99.9% of them are not computer wizards, they are actually skids who have very little knowledge of computers. I mean sh*t, most of them can't even shellboot people

 

Do not be under the impression that these are intelligent people, because they're not. The only difference between any one of us & a modder, is that they gave up & bought an E3Flasher & start to cheat. There are plenty of videos out there which will probably show them how to flash their console back to 3.3 I believe, then to install the 3.5 homebrew. Its probably changed a bit since I then, but the same concepts remain.

 

Once they have the broken console, its pretty much a case of downloading mods created by other people, as very few of them know how to create their own.

 

The good modders are the ones who make HD mods for old games to bring them upto current gen graphics, these modders in GTA are the turds of the modding & gaming community.

That sounds more like hacking than modding. In my opinion, and please don't take offense by this...but anyone that uses modding and hacking interchangeably are ignorant.

Anyway, the hacking and just straight up douchebag behavior of GTA Online is why I stopped playing it months ago.

 

Edit: It sounds like GTA Online is quickly turning into Red Dead Redemption MP. It wasn't until recently that Rockstar cleaned up the MP and made it playable. Before that, the public lobbies were void of players because the hacking got so bad. This was on PS3.

Yeah it was modding man.

 

I do not interchange modding & hacking, I am fully aware of the difference & have been a member of HackForums.net for some years now with interests in certain areas.

 

The problem I have, is certain friends, are friends of friends of friends of modders, if that makes sense. There is a trail & it seems no matter how many times I cut it off, they always find their way into my lobbies lol. Not to mention the random modders I come across anyway.

 

The only thing I have found that works in stopping modders, or making them quit lobbies is IP filtering them & then threatening to come kill them & sh*t, saying silly sit like " We're on our way to come kill you son! We see you over there at XYZ"

 

Gets a little borderline sometimes, but f*ck it, it works.

Now they know how to get devs features .

They can use dev sctv , with it they can join full sessions.

Then they can use modmenus to explode you or take all your weapons and modders names won't show up if they used dev sctv .

Modding has been around for a very long time. I don't know anything about it nowadays, but I used to be quite good with the baked items:

I was just driving my dune buggy around with my friend and got attacked by a tank and reversing entity.. Switched to my main character and took them out plus all their friends with some sweet buzzard fly overs. We then sniped them a few times, we hadn't died again. Then one of them switched god mode on, starting saying how they were hackers and killed us... Little punk ass sh*t. I managed to called him a script baby and not insult hackers before I left . What muppets, if you are going to attack innocents you better face up to the reprise.
