Anyone else bought a xbox1/ps4 for gta 5?

No I bought it because last-gen is going to die out in the next 2-4 years IMO.

 

Also its current-gen because its already released.

its still next gen. and it will be until something like FIFA/COD/BF wont come out for ps3/xbox anymore and more people swap over.. then it will slowly become current gen

I'll be buying the PC version for my HD Laptop instead.

 

GTA V gaming on PC is gonna be superior over PS4 and Xbox One.

Just wait til all the cool map mods and player mods be released on the PC GTA V.

i've bought a ps4 like 3~4 months ago, however I only used it a couple times and am now only using the ps3.

Not sure if I will buy gta v on the ps4. I'll only do that when there are major changes..

the ps4 now is only catching dust as there is not yet any interesting game or feature for me.

Probably gonna end up buying a PS4, but for mainly because Destiny and GTA V. I would buy it for PC but GTA:O isn't one of those games that's fun when everyone has trainers spawning random sh*t.

I've had a PS4 since the launch date. I have no intention of getting GTA V for it. Most of my friends still have PS3s so getting GTA V for the PS4 would serve no purpose for me unless you were able to play with PS3 users (which is not going to happen).

 

Actually have played much more on my PS3 over the past 9 months, basically because COD: Ghosts sucks (and I'm a HUGE COD player) and BF4 got a little stale. Hoping that Destiny changes things.

Today I orederd my PS4 and will got rid of my PS3 soon.

 

I will miss GTAV until it will be on PS4, and I will play it like in first day when it is on the market for PS4...

Nope. I'll probably ride the 360 to it's death - when Microsoft cuts support/XBOX LIVE. A lot of the games that I am really interested in this year will be dropped on the 360 as well, so that's a plus. I would love to hop up, but it just too damn costly for me right now....and I really want to wait for PS4/XBOX1 v2 because I still remember being burned by the RRoD on the first version of the 360 that I rushed out and purchased.

Not really. Saying next-generation means "The upcoming generation of video game console at a given time", and at this given time there is no upcoming generation of a console. Therefore, PS4/XBONE are current gen and PS3/XB360 are last gen.

Trying to tell myself I will wait and see if the game is a hash of code like last gen launch, but who am i kidding. How could i resist my darling GTA.

 

Looking at Destiny to scratch my FPS (+bonus sci-fi) itch

Witcher 3 to scratch my fantasy itch (this slot is not concreted yet)

and GTA for everything else especially watching hollywood action films and getting the itch.
