Anyone else bought a xbox1/ps4 for gta 5?

I've already bought 3 copies of GTA V/ ps3 and two copies for xbox. My Xbox destroyed my first copy.

 

I've already got a ps4. I'm on my Second ps4. Stupid to buy a launch console. Smart enough to get protection on it.

 

I am getting X1 for gta V. I'm also building a pc to play V on as well.

Yeah I'll get a PS4 a little while after GTAVRM releases. But I'm mainly getting it for The Last of Us RM, I f*cking love that game. But that all depends on if I buy that new PC by November like planned.

I got a ps4 before they announced GtaV for it. But as of right now it is collecting dust waiting for GTA lol, its the only game I feel like playing. Thats the reason I havn't finnished AC Black flag and KZ4.

Unfortunately, I heard that we have to pay Sony to play games online with the PS4. Is that true?

ps4 for gta 5? Most of the community looks like it will wait it out till the price drops in a year or two. Plus paying a premium price for online play for PS4 Sony networks is bullsh*t IMO.

LMFAO, so not do you only have to buy Cash Cards for some decent $ at GTA V PS4 because all $ glitches will be patches, you also have to pay to play with a bunch of imbecile children and griefers? Nice.

If you want to see it that way, you "pay" for being able to play PS4 online, but wait... You also get the PS+ membership itself which offers a bunch of "free" games from time to time. Not really a waste of money. Plus automatic game backup on the clouds in case you want to play on another PS4.

What keeps me from buying a PS4 for GTA V is that we don't know yet if we will be able to play with PS3 players (do we?, I have googled and no one knows yet). The avatar is transferable but you'll got to find some new wealthy friends, huh?

OT: I have a PS4 already but if I didn't I doubt GTA would convince me to get one, I'm looking forward to next gen V but its not worth £350-400 on its own. There was no way I wasn't getting PS4 on release day anyway do I have no need to worry!

Bought one at launch....And if GTA is the only game you play, the question should be "anyone buy a PC for GTAO".

 

Mods will trump anything the PS4 or Xbone can offer. After seeing what Rockstar has done and the direction they took with GTAO I'm that much less interested in supporting them by buying it again, unless there's significant improvements (which I highly doubt).

Hell no, not for this Saints Row ripoff. I'll just wait for GTA VI and some other new games and then buy a PS4. If GTA VI is like GTA V i won't even bother buying it, let alone buy a console for just this game.

 

I'll just get 'not buy' GTA V for pc and mod it to hell and back. Thats about it.

 

GTA VI (or a named next GTA?) should come out on the PS4 with plenty of shelf life left for the console. I am just waiting in 7 - 8 yrs time for R* to pull the same stunt of releasing GTA VII (or whatever they call it) just before the PS5 comes out so they can do more double dipping.

 

Although by then if I am even still playing games I should be 8 years into my chosen career (start next year as just finished Uni) so I guess I will have the money to purchase whichever platform I want to play games on...
