I don't usually work but when I do I waste 400 dollars on a ps4 just so that I can see next gen on my tv on it any one else bought ps4 just for gta

 

Personally I rlly wanted it but was lazy to pay but when I heard gta was coming I had to get my hands on one

I really hesitate to take it again over the console next-gen but I find that damage on behalf ofrockstar to have announced JUST recently that version GTA V would leave on next-gen where asthey could have informed it to us before the exit of GTA V to prevent that one repurchases the same game twice but it is the buisness.

Not me, I don't see myself going current gen anytime soon until games that I want shows up. I cannot buy a new console for a game I already finished twice and spent a good amount of time online already.

Hell no, not for this Saints Row ripoff. I'll just wait for GTA VI and some other new games and then buy a PS4. If GTA VI is like GTA V i won't even bother buying it, let alone buy a console for just this game.

 

I'll just get 'not buy' GTA V for pc and mod it to hell and back. Thats about it.

Also its current-gen because its already released.

It is exactly what I intend to do. It is ridiculous to twice repurchase the same game on a different console under-pretext that the game better with the best will be contained and better graphics where as I know that will not be worth the sorrow to take it again once again. Online will be full on GTAO version old gen that it will not be it on GTAO version next-gen. I will expect GTA VI which will have to exceed GTA V

on serious note, it all depends on what they do with gtao in the new consoles, they would need to make some good changes or additions to make me shell out the close to $500 it would cost me to upgrade.

My friend bought a ps4 just yesterday especially for gta v. I hope he doesn't have to wait longer than he expected. He never had a ps3, until yesterday he was still playing his ps2.

I'll be buying the Xbox One for Destiny so I'll have current gen when it likely comes out on November. That is unless I finish building PC before but likely will buy on both Xbox One and PC.

I already have a PlayStation 4, and it's not for GTAV only. Rockstar can kiss my butt for that. I will get it nonetheless but it's not the reason why I got my PS4.

GTA is the game I bought my PS3 for, & the first game I played online, back in 2008 for GTA 4 release.

 

But I bought my PS4 on the EU release date Nov.29th if I remember rightly, & apart from the first 2 months where I was playing BF4 & a few other games, it has become the most expensive paperweight I have ever owned.

 

That will all change when GTA & all the other big games come out though.

It is obvious that I will buy the PS4 since GTA VI will leave above, I think of being caught it for the next year at my 18 years but that Rockstar does not count on me to simply take again their game on PS3 because there are new graphics. GTA VI will deserve better my purchase that GTA V on next-gen

the world would completely change for him hahaha

 

going from ps2 to 3 the difference is palpable, going from 3 to 4 mmm not so much...

 

i know the technology is new and developers are still learning but right now there is not a single game in the market that would make me want to go to the store snd get one of the new consoles.

I plan to get my PS4 when the next COD and GTA V are available to get, and was gonna wait for GT7 too, but thats rumoured for next year. I want to have games that'll guarantee me playing for a while since I'll be getting rid of my PS3 before I get the PS4. That way, if I get a game, and turns out I don't particularly like it, I'll have games to keep playing.

Sure...why not?

This. GTA:O feels like an MMORPG to me. It's missing a lot of elements that truly would make it one. So, yea, if they can make it immersive, why not?

Forget all the gamers who are educated individuals, with great careers & play games for various reasons... The only people who spend $400 on PS4s are "those living with their parents working part time". So insightful, $400 must really be a lot of money to you.

I'm getting an X1 for Halo. May pick up V depending on the changes- player count, less lag, texture pop ups and freezing.
