People who use their disability as an excuse for everything and allow themselves to be held back because of it. It's important to acknowledge your disability, but to go into every situation with "I have a disability, therefore I'm not going to be good at this" is really sad and I hate to see when people do that to themselves. I technically have a learning disability too but I don't ever bring it up.

I totally agree. I Hate to see people hold them self back because of a disability in a way I can kind of see why people would it's really easy to be hard on yourself. Maybe it's because of the stigma that comes with having a disabillity be it physical or mental.

People who become smug once they make something of themselves just because the odds were against them. The whole I made it so you can too attitude bugs me because a lot of the time luck and other uncontrollable factors play a big part.

It could be that the 50-year old has an invisible disease - My dad has triple prolapse in his back, something which causes him great pain constantly, but is not visible. My mother and aunt have both replaced parts of their legs because of chronic rheumatoid arthritis, which is also invisible(they're in their 50s). Prolapse can affect anyone, I have a 21 year-old friend who has it, and is therefore in pain.

Yeah, I've thought about that, but they actually say the "elderly" bit, which makes me think they really have no good reason and just need some cheap excuse. Plus, there's always around 8 seats reserved for disabled people, and they're always vacant. That's what bugs me...

You see tons of weird sh*t on buses here. I once sat behind a guy who was drunk out of his mind. He incoherently bitched and threatened the driver for the whole trip. Before getting up to leave, he proceeded to rip off the cover of a seat (and that sh*t was nailed there!)... What the actual f*ck...

Also, statistics aren't exactly helping the feminists' claims: a 2013 report shows that men worked, on average, 8.3 hours a day, while women worked for 7.7 hours.

On the days they did household work, women spent, on average, 2.6 hours on these activities vs. men's 2.1 hours of household work.

 

When you put it all together, it'll be pretty apparent that the double shift claim doesn't hold water.

You know what....i did a lot of thinking about this and I think the two biggest pet peeves in the world is public transportation and old people.

Like, no ones want to ride on a public bus to go anywhere! Thats a f*cking fact! I never seen anyone have the option between the comfort of a

car and the annoyance of a city bus...and then sanely go with the bus. It just doesn't happen.

 

And old people are just a pet peeve in themselves. I'm old compared to alot of people on this forum....but I look young and damn it thats the way

I'm keeping it! In fact in Florida it should be HIGHLY illegal for anyone over the age of 65 to drive. If you ever been to Florida or you live here you know

what I mean.

 

You know how irritating it is to be stuck behind someone who is 20 mins past death, driving 25 miles under the f*cking speed limit!!! These people are

are the reason why there are so many 411 radio commercials (amongst other things).

 

Just to sum it up....Public bus is a homeless shelter on wheels and old people need to be stopped at all cost, from entering a vehicle.
