What Have You Learned?

I've learned how to utilize the Passive Mode and Kill Yourself features to their fullest potential.

Do tell, I've never heard of being able to do anything using those combined.

 

It's hard to kill me unless someone gets a firetruck.

I stay in Passive Mode and if my life is threatened, I choose "Kill Myself" and the second a car touches me, it counts as suicide.

 

sounds like lots of fun, you should try it in single player mode so that you dont fill up a slot online that someone who actually plays could use, haha

 

You don't understand. I still kill people. I just slip back into Passive Mode as soon as I respawn.

Killing myself a second before someone plows me over with a car simply steals a kill from them.

It really pisses off a lot of people when they know they should have as many or more kills on me than I have on them, but my method ensures it keeps their count at 0.

I have learned that Heists do not exist, and that it was a conspiracy made by Rockstar to get us to buy Cash Cards while we wait for them.

 

I also learned that I just ran out of tinfoil and I need to buy some more soon.

I learned that I have pretty much wasted the last 300 nights of my life since 17 September 2013, not to mention having previously wasted another 700 nights between 25 October 2011 and 17 September 2013 on this forum following the announcement of the first GTAV trailer. So all-in-all, 1000 nights of my life down the tubes.

i was friendly once and gave a dude a ride who was asking for one on the mic, he promptly shot me when he got out at the destination so now i just shoot anyone who approaches me without warning, cause like i said my friendlist is full so even if you wanna be friendly i dont have room for you and i certainly wouldnt add random people i just met anyway. You would have to prove yourself in a mission and keep voting and playing a while cause i dont like people that act like tards or have no mic that dont listen to directions that go zipping off without giving anyone a ride and getting killed 2 times before anyone else even gets there and failing the misisons by blowing everything up. ive got some friends without mics but they most have to have one to even be considered, typing msgs on a controller really f*cking sucks and takes way too long.

I used to be a lot more discerning like you are, but with 90% of the free aim lobbies being dead (for me at least) I've started to gather a group of friends consisting of people I've only done maybe one mission with, as long as they weren't diabolically terrible.

 

At least that way I've got some people to call on when I want. It just means that we often fail missions that I can solo with my eyes shut, but they'll learn and get better...hopefully.

i started off very friendly but the longer i played the fuller my list got and the more idiots i met so i started being more selective, i like playing with others in crew to get the max bonus and quickly found that crews with open enrollment suck ass and are full of retards, never join an open enrollment crew, lol

I have learned that R* secretly want to destroy GTAO. For every fix they made, they create three bugs.

I've learned that R* isn't a perfect videogame developer(mainly with what I've seen them do with the online component), this was something I believed in since the early GTA games. I have lost some trust and respect for them.

Cant say that much about the updates since i have only been thru a couple

When you spawn into the game and hear loud explosions ........check the TV and see who is probally gonna blow you and your car to hell and back

R* has no idea how to balance the in game economy.

They also are trying too hard to be hip. (Music, clothes, etc..)

Don't get too attached to a car, they will probably jack-up the handling of it and leave it for dead for a few months.

They have a ton of open holes in their code, allowing all the glitches.

They completely underestimated how much people would play this game, or they have a bunch of real expensive items waiting for release.

There is a massive disconnect between R* and players.

That you all are really cool people and I wish we all could play together in one big session. That's honestly why I signed up for GTAForums.com. It was because I had complaints and stuff to say about this game, and it has led to this. Interesting segment of my life, this is.

I learned that R* care more about their income than their customers and that I should never EVER trust what they say.

I learned that killing squeakers is a lot of fun.

I learned that most gamers cannot be trusted and deserve to be shot on sight.

I learned that glitching a few million makes the game more fun and less of a ballache grind, and that beating R* at their own game is incredibly satisfying.

I always go into Passive mode before i approach but 95% of them are just being friendly while the other 5% are trying to lure you into a trap.

 

Try not to be an asshole all the time, You can meet some really cool folks if you don't shoot at everybody

 

I'd say the stats were the other way around.

i've learned that microtransactions can really ruin anything
