Body Armor, but no helmets?

Why can I buy body armor, but not a protective helmet for my head? Who's genius idea was it to make you more difficult to kill by making a person waste money on Armor when they can just aim at the head?

I'm not saying a lot of armor, but enough that it would give you more of a fighting chance.

You do need a protective helmet for your head. This post proves that much!

You need a bulletproof helmet to get a fighting chance?

You must need more iVoltScopez for your guns, because they serve the rest of us just fine.

How about staying in cover rather than going out like you're Rambo.

Officer Ronson

The current bike helmets can actually protect you from headshots, but only by a pistol.

You realise in real life, a kevlar helmet doesn't stop bullets unless they're from a pretty long range. Even then, the speed the bullet travels, you'd probably be knocked unconscious. I will also say, don't even bother buying body armour, it's just a waste of money. Pretty much one or two bullets and your armour is gone. Just go into free aim, people don't even tend to try to kill you and if they do. It's easier to escape or if you want a firefight, it's easier to get into cover.

Some of you are thick skulled, maybe you don't need helmets... Christ. I understand that I said fighting chance, but I would PREFER if the game would offer head protection as well. In a game dominated by auto aim that allows one swift move of the stick for immediate death I feel like the head should have a little more protection. Time and time again I feel myself dying immediately from shots that could be somewhat dampened by a helmet.

This is a game. In real life some body armor wont stop 6 shots from an AK or another weapon firing 7.62 or larger caliber rounds unlike the game where you're absolutely fine when you're hit that many times.

Don't want things to become too militaristic, our gtao characters are supposed to be 2-bit gangsters but I guess that concept is thrown out the window since we can own tanks and jets. People should be rewarded for getting head shots since the chest is a much easier target, especially in auto aim.

All my crew roleplay as mercenaries with army experience from Iraq, Falklands and Afghan.

Makes sense since about 75% of us are going ahead with careers in the army.

Which is why they are useful, two shots could be enough to help you plug them in the skull.

I usually buy it before a mission and it can be quite handy in that situation.

Oh gawd..

GTA V Online needs one of these. I think it would solve all issues. Those too lazy to walk, and those scared about being shot in the head. ^_^

Top Hats are bulletproof. Wear one of those. Preferably the red/whte&blue one.

It totally doesn't make you easier to spot and shoot.
