If i die with my modded character, it will load forever, does anybody has this problem 2? And somebody knows how to fix this?

Not sure if this thread is dead, but I was wondering if anyone else was having the problem where when you die as your modded character there is no "wasted" sign and the screen goes black and loads forever. If anyone knows how to fix it that would be awesome.

 

 

When you change your player model you are no longer the "player" model but are the "[insert character name, aside from the three protagonists, here]". Only the "player" models are meant to work properly, get the Wasted/Busted screen & respawn after it and do missions. This isn't scripted properly for other characters (since you're not meant to play as them) so things usually break.

 

Basically, when you play as a character other than the three protagonists, the game gets completely confused, doesn't know what to do and as a result either loads forever or crashes.

Nope. Only Online characters have visible models for body armor.

 

The closest thing to visible body armor you can get for all three protagonists is the Paleto Score armor.

I find this a bit Ironic since Trevor's current outfit never changes while Micheal's outfit changes all the time.

This was closed off a while back, the only NOOSE Officer Model is the Police Model... there isnt s FIB Model, they are the exact same model, only the game switches the decals on certain missions, there is currently no possible way (besides PC Mods & Trainers) that you can get the FIB Variant of the NOOSE Outfit.

As I just mentioned, the games coding will switch the "POLICE" Decal to "FIB" with the NOOSE Model during certain missions, but there is no way to even complete these missions as you either load forever or die instantly or at a checkpoint, and so there is no way of bringing it into Freeroam or through Hash Value Editing. Sorry.

I usually seem to only ever get a long sleeved officer if I mod Franklin as the Cop, not Michael or Trevor, but even then I usually get it at a 2/5 Chance, so it alters, doesnt actually stay the same.

Also though, I have noticed something strange over the last few days... since the new DLC Release actually, when your a NOOSE agent, you no longer get assisted by police, and they attack you head on as if you were a standard character... and beforehand as you said, Police would help and no one would be able to attack anyone else.

To my knowledge, the NOOSE models aren't on the same faction as the Police ones. Nor were they ever to begin with.

 

Yup your right, heck NOOSE will actually even attack you as NOOSE, the same with Prison Guards, LSPD, NOOSE, LSSD Will all attack you even as a Prison Guard.

 

LSPD, LSSD & SAHP all seem okay though.

Oh, is that why when you start a mission as the modded character that isn't the protagonist in that mission it always bugs and and you fail after a certain time?

Yes, also the same thing as why the FIB NOOSE Model cant be used much due to the mission failure.

I just want to unlock all the clothing at the end of the story, at the beginning/during. On ps4 so no editors etc. So frustrating!!

Playstation4 & Xbox One Game Saves still need too be sorted out, so that they can be modded and edited, as of now there is still no way on doing that, however in the future there may be a chance of changing that, however that involves a lot of work & we have to appreciate the fact that XB36Hazard also has a lot of work with maintaining and testing the Save Editor as it is already.

No logical reason why they shouldn't. Especially as last gen you can and it doesn't affect online etc.

 

Stupid as well, that you unlock all clothing and finally have enough money to purchase properties once the game is over. (Unless you do assassinations once available to kickstart the money). Same as clothing, just doesn't make sense. Little things like that, such as the Moto gp outfit, no top etc when you go beach or mission clothes, the amount of time I've role played during the story and would done even more if things like the above was available. Which would of gave the illusion that the story was longer and less complaining.

 

Insanity I know, but the amount of times I've restarted the story. Completed it about 6 times and on my 15th/16th re run (started again this morning lol). Absolute weirdo. Going to take it so slow now. Game feels dead once story is over.

Because people are finding ways to Use Mod Menu's on GTAO via USB's believe it or not, some people really are desperate. And well... R* being Rockstar, will of course do what they can too stop that.

Im not sure of its individual code, but even then you need to be wearing a mask in your Game Save I believe, however if you have used the Save Editor Feature where it unlocks all your clothing items already (I cant remember off the top of my head where it is - but im presuming its somewhere in the same tab as ped editing menu and most probably has a t-shirt icon) then when you go in-game it will be in your interaction menu, it wont have a name but it would be under you helmets or hats section. Hope that helped.

How do you get to customize vehicles Police? I tried to import a car in the garage Vinewood of Michael and it does not appear. Will has a way of changing a police car at LS Custom?

Customizing Police Vehicles at LS Customs dont work. Importing Police Vehicles in garages should work.

The Vapid Stanier (Crown Vic) Police Car & Sheriff Cruiser's Lightbar can be changed.

 

Body Style: 0 = No Lightbar

Body Style: 1 = LED Lightbar

Body Style: 2 = Other Variant Lightbar

 

You can edit the Body Style using the Advanced Tool Settings, its technically LS Customs but in Hashes.

Hello Gtaforumers, today i have found something that could hint on a Lamar DLC so heres the story:

i was trying out some player models with this http://gtaforums.com...modded-console/ and after a couple hours i thought, what would happen if you use Lamar? so i did replace him with Franklin, on a save where Michael was Dead. After walking through the Hood are for a couple minutes i noticed people greeting Lamar, for example: i walked by some Gang Members wearing green and one of them says "whats up lamar"?

at first i didnt care about it but after a couple minutes i noticed that you can actually respond to them, mostly lamar says "whats up fam?" or "my nigga!" so i was thinking, what if you insult a person? so i ran into someone and he said watch out, Idiot! so i pressed the respond button, and lamar said: "Punk ass Nigga!" so i kept pressing right on the D-Pad and lamar actually has a little pattern of Insult-responses to people, i have it on Video, so if you want i'll upload it today and i'll post the link here.

Actually there was supposed to be a ended from where you could play as Lamar as a Main Character (Voice actor of Lamar confirmed this too) presuming that maybe Franklin dies and Lamar Takes over or something like that, either way that explains Lamar's Working Voice Pattern

I cant say, im on 360, but I know that there are about 2 or 3 slightly different methods to use for the Ped Editor, look around it might be somewhere here, I dont know them all off the top of my head.

 

I know one requires switching to GTAO (or from GTAO) and one requires you to load it up, press down on the D-Pad select online, and as soon as you go to the clouds, back out again into SP. Try those, might still work.

There is an old method that still works to help with changing your character to another model. There are two downsides though:

 

1) You will have to downgrade your game.

2) You will have to use "friends" in order to make the switch.

 

HOW TO DOWNGRADE:

-simply put, take ALL the DLC out of your HDD/USB and place them somewhere else. We want to trick the game into thinking we don't have any of the DLC installed, which include the patches. Keep the ORIGINAL patches that came with your game but exclude ALL Online-related patches from your HDD/USB. Doing this will allow this method to work; otherwise, you will freeze just like old times.

 

FRIEND METHOD (DOWNGRADE REQUIRED):

-so you want to RP as a ped? This is easy with the following method, but I need to explain one important detail before we continue:

 

THE IMPORTANCE OF KNOWING YOUR FRIENDS:

-in GTA: V, each protagonist is given or can call certain friends. This also applies to the other protagonists, which can correlate with another protag's friends (Ex: Jimmy can be seen by both Michael and Franklin). Because of this, the glitch can occur, so make sure you know who can see which friend.

 

-back to the glitch:

1) Change the model of one of your friends (Jimmy for example)

2) Change the model of the protagonist you want to be (Ex: Change Franklin to an LSPD officer)

3) Leave the protagonist you will be using to call his/her friend the way he is (Ex: Michael stays unmodded)

4) In-game, call up the "modded" friend with the unmodded protagonist (Micheal calls Jimmy modded as an LSPD Officer)

I posted that in January and no longer play on the console (which is what this glitch was for). If you can do it now without downgrading, then great.

You half to use franklin or trevor but remember they half to be the same NPC model, but there is a certain part of the story when amanda leaves you, so that's probably why or she is busy. if shes busy then go to safe house, sleep in bed & try again, im pretty sure someones gonna come in here & start saying I need to get next gen or everyones using simple trainers, but idc. Hope this helps anyone

To everyone reading, this still works for old gen, Even after all the patches, this no longer requires you to delete all patches. I'll tell the steps for everyone whose wanting to do this,

Heres proof that it does, http://imgur.com/j0G8qkfok lets get on with the steps

 

1, Quick save as michael or trevor or franklin." The one you quick save as, will be the one that ain't modded"

2, Open the GTA V save editor By XB36HAZARD

3, Click on other at the bottom & wait for it to load

4, Next you want to click ped editor & Choose either M, T or F to replace, But if you choose to replace then character that you quick saved as, it will cause you to be frozen when you spawn, Heres an a example for what you need to do, (Ex. Quick saved as Trevor, Replace M or F, Not Trevor)

 

5, For Michael, You need to replace Amanda as the same NPC if you picked Michael to be modded, If you choose to replace Trevor, then replace Lamar as the same NPC as Trevor & If you choose to replace Franklin , Replace Lamar as the same NPC you choose for Franklin, " Warning", If they ain't they aint the same NPC, It will cause you game to f*ck up" & "you can only choose one to mod, Not all 3"

 

6, Save your game save or continue editing if you want

7, As soon as your game loads If you are Michael, Call Amanda & if your Trevor or Franklin, Call lamar

8, When you pick up lamar or amanda, you will see them as the choosen Character, Simply take them out to drink & afterwards, drop them off

9, You will here the character talk like Trevor or whoever is modded, after the cutscene, choose the character that you modded, if worked correctly, you'll go up in the sky & stay there for a few, & then once you spawn back on the ground, you'll be your modded character, Hope this ain't confusing to anyone, Have fun
