Who knows how I can have the 'FIB' logo on my holding Officer NOOSE? Because I have the 'Police' logo and I want to replace it with 'FIB'0_0.jpg

Changing clothing right now is being looked at, currently there is no known way to get something like this.

I just saw a code for this! Thank you anyway for your answer! I have one last question: Are the Mods Skins of Save Editor can make bugs when playing a mission? Because when I used mods Franklin in Police Officer, I served a mission and I failed, and when I wanted to try again, there was an infinite loading

Read the front page of this thread, most of the bugs are listed there.

Made a very interesting discovery... So you never see NOOSE "Police" with NOOSE "FIB" Right? thats because the coding in the game for specific parts will alter the decals, and it would still be the same NOOSE "Police" model, for example. in the mission "The Wrap Up" if on freemode your the NOOSE "Police" Agent, then when you play the mission the "Police" switched to "FIB" as the FIB Rouge Agents come along, Still working out to see if there is a way to keep the FIB decals on freemode right now though. Also as the cutscene ends and the shootout begins, you suddenly spawn over with the FIB Agents, as if the game is registering you as one of them.

That's interesting.. so basically the game contains scripts that can change the decals on certain models as and when it needs to? There may then be a way to get it to work in free roam.

That's also interesting that it changed the spawn location of the player character because of the model.

Exactly, it is very interesting, If you die however in this mission if you chose to either Quit or Retry you get a infinite loading screen, so no hope in bringing it back to SP this way, I will be doing a few more tests later tonight when I get back. but as you say, if the game itself is controlling the Decals at certain points within the game, the mission must active/trigger some sort of change within the coding, therefore altering the decals. As I mentioned, the Game registers you as a FIB Agent, even when you wearing the SWAT Uniform that says "Police" on it, but it changes to "FIB" so if we could somehow save the outfit as it is there in the mission, and then somehow get back onto SP, We should successfully acquire the FIB Decal. As I said, Ill e on soon to play around a it and see what else I can do, and report back to you ;) Nice meeting you by the way :D

Good to meet you too :) I did some testing myself last night and found a few things. The GTA Wiki states that members of the FIB Tactical Team (with the FIB decal) appear in only three missions. Those missions being 'The Bureau Raid', 'The Wrap Up' and 'The Third Way'. It appears that the only way to play as the FIB Team member is in 'The Wrap Up'. Both the other two missions cause mission failure before you are able to even see the models.

Somehow the game's scripted state must be kept from The Wrap Up to be used in the single player for it to work I guess.

Yes, tested the Bureau Raid & Third Way myself too, shame that it just fails for no apparent reason :/ However if you reach the checkpoint in the Wrap Up, you just fail again too... I do have a theory, which may be strange but I have some sort of evidence that could back me up here... (as the the reason why it fails the mission when you pass the checkpoint in the wrap up)

The Game Registers you as a actual FIB Agent... and during the shootout between the FIB, IAA & MWSC, we see all these members on the balcony level, except from a couple MWSC Soldiers who Dave Nortan shoots on the stair case, however if we focus on the FIB Agents, none of them seem to take cover beyond the area where the checkpoint is... So hear me out, Im assuming youve used the Capture Creator?

If not, you have the ability to add "actors" and set their "patrol radius" which shows the area the actors are allowed to go, and they wont be able to pass the boundaries you set, so say if this the case here in this mission, and Rockstar have set the first set of FIB Agents' patrol range in that specific area, and as I mentioned before the game registers you as a FIB Agent, and spawns you with the FIB Agents at the end of the cutscene and at the start of the shootout, now if that game is registering you as a FIB Member and there is a patrol boundary, theoretically you shouldnt be able to pass beyond the boundary, and so you fail, because FIB Agents arent supposed to go beyond this point, however I still dont know anything more about the Decal Changes... so Im yet to do a few more tests and see if im able to bypass this. But no invincibility cheat is available or skyfall cheats etc. during missions :/

Starting a new test after I just suddenly remembered something that hit me... The GTAV Save Editor has a .... "Clothing Editor" and a section specifically for Decals... however once I went and save my character and then went to see what the HEX Values for the decals were, to my disappointment the code read as "0x00000000" in other words meaning, there is no decal, but of course there is... its just not registered as a "Extra" Decal. So then I decided to look through all of the HEX Values, to discover something else that was quite interesting... almost every single string said either "0x00000000" or "0xFFFFFFFF" To my understanding those "f's" represent the colour white, as we are using HEX Values and the HEX Value for white is a load of "F's" whether thats what it is, or just coding in letters im still not sure, anyway last few stings were as follows:

0x3C = 0xFFFFFF9D
0x3D = 0x00000002
0x3E = 0x00000000
0x3F = 0xFFFFFF9D
0x40 = 0x00000001
So if we exclude 0x3E, we can see the last codes have actual coding within them, however I only understand a few of the 0x-- Codes, and the ones listed above, are the ones Ive never tested before, so I am going to see what differences we get from changing and altering this codes to see if one of these 0x-- Codes alter the Decal, Im "HOPING" that the 0x3D Code might be it... because it ends in "02" so fingers crossed if we switch it to maybe "01" It will change the decals, I will let you know if it works or if I discover anything else ;)

Shamefully, editing the last remaining code strings, didnt seem to affect the model in any shape or form, (from what I know of anyway) maybe it only works for M/F/T and not for other AI Models... Well either way just going to play and around with things and see if I find anything else to assist us in finding this Decal.

0x18 are decals and 0x0B is the decal texture

So far these are all clothes controls I have in my old research notes:

0x00 = ?0x01 = Controls the head texture0x02 = ?0x03 = ?0x04 = Controls the shirt textutre0x05 = Controls the pants texture0x06 = ?0x07 = ?0x08 = ?0x09 = ?0x0A = ?0x0B = ?0x0C = ?0x0D = ?0x0E = ?0x0F = ?0x10 = Hair0x11 = Torso0x12 = Legs0x13 = Hands0x14 = Feet0x16 = Accessory0x17 = Task0x18 = Decal0x28 = Hats0x29 = Eyes0x31 = ?0x33 = Controls the eyes texture0x0B = Controls the decal texture0x40 = ?

And you can't change clothes on modded characters. Since you always start off with any one of the three protagonists, any alterations to the clothes will likely alter their own clothes and switching to the modded character will usually randomize the clothing options. Unless there is a new method which I don't know about.

The FIB agents (which really are NOOSE with FIB decals) are the same as cops, you are treated as one of them. You can't attack them and they will help you out/ignore you when you have a wanted level. I'm guessing here now, the script requests the NOOSE models (s_m_y_swat_01) to spawn and places every one of them with each other and forces a clothes change (decal texture change) on all of them. Since you are one of these models you get put along with them and get the different decal.

I don't think that you will be able to get that decal since it is a special clothing option - for example you buy a bowling shirt for Trevor. Get a switch scene, the texture will be the same as the one you bought. You will not get a different bowling shirt texture or the one from Collector's Edition. You don't have the "authorisation" to have/use the other texture which is the case with special clothes, textures, etc. - you are not meant to have it and so you will not get it at random (this is also the reason why you don't ever get heist clothes druing switch scenes even though you own them at the end of story). If you want the FIB decal, the only way to get it at the moment is console modding or PC trainers or small section of a mission.

Yes thanks for this :)

Also though, I have noticed something strange over the last few days... since the new DLC Release actually, when your a NOOSE agent, you no longer get assisted by police, and they attack you head on as if you were a standard character... and beforehand as you said, Police would help and no one would be able to attack anyone else.

oh and thanks for the 0x Codes, much appreciated ;)

To my knowledge, the NOOSE models aren't on the same faction as the Police ones. Nor were they ever to begin with.

NOOSE have always been treated differently by cops when the player is playing as one as far as I know. For whatever reason the game does not count them as police officers in the same way normal officers are.

Not sure if this thread is dead, but I was wondering if anyone else was having the problem where when you die as your modded character there is no "wasted" sign and the screen goes black and loads forever. If anyone knows how to fix it that would be awesome. :lol:

Never mind I had a corrupted save and I tried the Amanda method when I restarted.

Actually save corruption has nothing to do with it. When you change your player model you are no longer the "player" model but are the "[insert character name, aside from the three protagonists, here]". Only the "player" models are meant to work properly, get the Wasted/Busted screen & respawn after it and do missions. This isn't scripted properly for other characters (since you're not meant to play as them) so things usually break.

Basically, when you play as a character other than the three protagonists, the game gets completely confused, doesn't know what to do and as a result either loads forever or crashes.

Oh, is that why when you start a mission as the modded character that isn't the protagonist in that mission it always bugs and and you fail after a certain time?

Yes but you need to do a different method to play as the modded characters.

The friend method, heres a quick summary of how to do it, I'll use Trevor being replaced for Niko as an example, you can do this with any other character

1. Replace Trevor with Niko.

2. Replace Lamar with Niko.

3. Start the game up, make sure you're playing as Franklin.

4. Hang out with Lamar

5. Do any friend activity, drop Lamar off.

6. As soon as the cutscene ends, switch to Trevor.

7. You'll now be able to play as Niko.

Thanks, got it to work that way. Some models I want to use have different shirts but the one I dont want is the one that the character spawns with. Is there any way I can choose which clothing items I want instead or is it chosen randomly?

Before it was randomly, now it doesn't work for some reason, mainly because the glitch has been patched and unpatched multiple times.

Using the online method I have managed to get my modded characters to variate between two outfits. Except for the Black Ops 01 he randomly changes every time.

In case you wanted to know it's very easy. You can have only two modded characters because one slot has to be the normal SP character. When you start the modded save you go to a solo session online but instead of switching straight to a modded character you switch to the un-modded SP character. Then when your playing as the un-modded one you pause then go to another solo session. This time you change into your modded character and he will have the same head but different clothes. For some examples for the Cop 01 and Sheriff 01 it changes their short sleeves into long sleeves and gives them ties. And for the Hwy Cop 01 it untucks his pants from his boot. Pretty much every NPC that doesnt have any cutscene time has a second variation, at least for the ones I found.

I just want to unlock all the clothing at the end of the story, and the beginning/during. On ps4 so no editors etc. So frustrating!!

Without a editor it's impossible to unlock everything. On the jewel store job if you pick the quiet approach you get the Bugstars uniform and if you pick loud you get Michaels heist suit. As far as I know you cant get both.

This is why I think someone should try and crack PS4 save files, as far as I know you can't put XBONE save files on your USB, so I don't think it will ever work for XBONE.

It's probably never gonna happen but it would be cool to transfer SP save files.

Not true, you have to do the Loud approach for both, the Suit unlocks straight after the heist that way while the Bugstar uniform minus the gas mask is unlocked after the last mission regardless of which approach you took.

Yeah, I dont have a PC that can handle GTA V so if I want to mod I have to go back to my 360 so I can play as the modded characters. I also wish that you could put your saves on USB for Xbox One but it seems that Microsoft did that to prevent people from using save editors for games. :/

Which is a huge restriction for the new gen consoles, I've heard Fallout 4 will have mods on consoles so this might convince R* to allow save editing on consoles.

No logical reason why they shouldn't. Especially as last gen you can and it doesn't affect online etc.

Stupid as well, that you unlock all clothing and finally have enough money to purchase properties once the game is over. (Unless you do assassinations once available to kickstart the money). Same as clothing, just doesn't make sense. Little things like that, such as the Moto gp outfit, no top etc when you go beach or mission clothes, the amount of time I've role played during the story and would done even more if things like the above was available. Which would of gave the illusion that the story was longer and less complaining.

Insanity I know, but the amount of times I've restarted the story. Completed it about 6 times and on my 15th/16th re run (started again this morning lol). Absolute weirdo. Going to take it so slow now. Game feels dead once story is over.

Bit of a cheeky request, but could you possibly do the other videos for all the ped models? As someone who only plays V for the ped editing, who doesn't own a PC good enough to run V, these types of videos are incredibly useful for me.

Saves me having to test every ped model myself haha ;)
