TheFallenAngel Posted January 3, 2003 Share Posted January 3, 2003 Normally I wouldn't care about beating the game 100% but I found out you can get body guards to go around with you when do it. Now I'm only at 68 or 69% finished, I've done all the main story missions, own all the properties, robbed all the stores, did all the assasin missions, but i only have 32 packages and only 9 or so kill frenzies. I'm going to get a guide for all that stuff but what other stuff do i have to do? Do I just have to get 100 taxi missions, cop, ambulance, and fire missions too or do I have to get to a certain level? faustianbargain Posted January 3, 2003 Share Posted January 3, 2003 YES you have to do all these for 100% Here's what you gotta do: Vigilante missions - beat Level 12. This will make your maximum armor increase to 150. Firefighter missions - beat Level 12. This make Tommy Vercetti fireproof. Paramedic missions - beat Level 12. Your reward is infinite run. Taxi missions - complete 100 fares. They do NOT have to be consecutive. Your reward is that any time you press L3 in any Cab, it will make it jump in the air. Pizza missions - go up to Level 10 and the mission will be completed, message will appear. Your rewards are $5000 and 150 Maximum Health points. anothernewbie Posted January 4, 2003 Share Posted January 4, 2003 I think you also have to complete all the unique jumps, RC & checkpoint missions? I'm at 73%, but I'm not sure I'll ever reach 100%. For one, I can never get to level 10 or whatever in Pizza missions, so I doubt I'll be able to beat the Paramedic & Fire missions either. Congrats to all who've achieved 100%, but: if those things have NOTHING to do with the story line, but still count towards 100%, what's the point; other than being able to say you've accomplished it? xober Posted January 4, 2003 Share Posted January 4, 2003 You do have to do all the missions, including the side missions, the rampages, the unique jumps, the robberies,firefighter-,pizza-,vigilante-,and ambulance-,missions to get to 100% (Of course with a 100 hidden packages as well.) Enter the Vercetti Estate from the front, on your right there is a small room with health, armor and python pickups. This is the room where earlier in the game a cuts scene took place with Tommy, Lance and 2 bodyguards. There should be 3 bodyguards with mission markers in front of them. Step into one or all three of the mission markers and the bodyguards you selected will follow you everywhere. If the bodyguards are not in there, leave the mansion and walk back in, they re spawn like cars in the game do. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
[email protected] Posted January 4, 2003 Share Posted January 4, 2003 if the only readon ur getting 100% is for the bodygaurds.. lemmie save u some time. they f*cking suck. they are not cool at all. they only shoot after u start shooting in which case the guy is already dead. if u got like 10 bodygaurds and they shot freely at gangs then that would be cool, but as it is now they f*cking suck. the only real reason for getting 100% is to get that sense of acomplishment, as there really isint much to do afterwards. RS STAR Posted January 6, 2003 Share Posted January 6, 2003 ya gotta do heaps ive got the stradage guide and there is tuns to do im at 92% at the moment and havent done any paramedic or any rampages there are 2 small things ya gotta do to get 100% and thats pcj 600 playground which is located: travel south after passing the malabu club follow the road and when it come to a indersection on the left there should be a pcj 600 parked on the grass next to the building on the left. and cone crazy: is at the car park you meet lance for the mission that you protect lance hop in a stallion at the top of the car park to activate the mission Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
