Am I the only one that remembers a time that calling a rapper "hip-hop" was a slap in the face? There is much love for the east coast on here but this is a fictional version of L.A. We could use more of Game's stuff. But I would really like some Spice-1, MC Eiht, and some of Cube's first solo album. Mac and Dub''s solo stuff was great, Dogg Pound was great. I will say this again, said it when tracklist somewhat leaked, Daz Dillenger's In California would be a great song in this game.

Yeah, just what the game needs is another hip hop station to go along with the THREE we already have.

 

What this game needs is an ACTUAL metal station with actual good bands. Seriously, would it kill them to add in some Metallica, Pantera, Avenged Sevenfold, Killswitch Engage, etc. ?

Radio X in San Andreas was absolutely amazing, so many good songs but the spiritual successor(Channel X) is ABSOLUTE sh*t! I can't f*cking stand anything on that station. Literally, nothing on there is worth listening to, it's ALL garbage.

And Los Santos Rock Radio needs it's name changed to Los Santos CLASSIC Rock Radio as pretty much every song on there is old as f*ck, not to mention it's mostly soft rock. I was hoping it would be more along the lines of 80's hair band type sh*t like Van Halen and Motley Crue.

 

Overall, the soundtrack in the game is pretty stale compared to previous games, the only game with a worse soundtrack was GTA IV.

R* flopped with Channel X, but it makes sense for that channel to exist because Los Angeles was a punk rock capital in the 70's and the 80's.

 

I was disappointed when I saw "Bloodstains" by Agent Orange get cut, but ehh, it's nothing to lose sleep on... even if it was one of my favorite songs from Tony Hawk 4. I can always stream music from my Moto X onto my Xbox.

I don't listen to much rock but yea radio x in san andreas was way better than the sh*t they put in channel x. Hell every station in that game was great. Yea its surprising that they don't have alot of mainstream bands like RHCP, guns and roses, or most Californian rock bands. I could've easily this song being in this game.
