[XBOX360] Civil War Reenactment Lobby

Hey everyone!

I have seen one or two topics about something like this, however I have not seen any that seemed to have actually gone through with it.

I would like to host a lobby with at least 8 people where re create various civil war type scenarios using the musket and limited use of the vintage pistol. I understand this may not be possible because of how the creator works but this thread is here to discuss that.

The battles would be done while in line formations with each team having a team leader giving movement and firing commands, specifics will be covered in the lobby.

I figure that the Union and Confederate players would each have their own "uniforms" to make it more realistic and I have an idea for both sides. But feel free to share your opinions.

There would be several different battle fields to make it more interesting. They will include farms, beaches, and anywhere else someone may suggest.

Chances are this will be done in a private free mode so if you come you must be cooperative as to make it run smoothly. Here are some ground rules to make it fun!

1. No killing until battle begins
2. Listen to the host first, and team leaders second
3. Musket and light use of vintage pistol only
4. Must join on time
5. Only speak when required to not clutter communications

Very good joke

 

I see it like this, two preferably even teams each with a team leader or "general" who will give movement and firing commands to the rest of the team.

 

The two teams will start across some sort of battlefield from each other and then advance towards one another. Them the firing vollies would commence.

 

We do that and or attack and defend type scenarios where one side advances towards another who is holding a particular position.

 

I also figure the team leaders would be the only ones allowed to use the vintage pistol and will only be allowed to use 1-2 magazines as to keep it from being over powered.

 

It will be relatively small scale unlike a real civil war battle but its GTA so we'll just make the best of it.

 

Its all in good fun. If you have any suggestions lay them on me.

Ahh cool sounds cool, Maybe i'll mention something like this to my crew as one of our crew events

 

You should make it so everybody has to use the Musket as it is a Civil War era gun and it takes around 5 seconds to load it so there is no accidental volley of 5 shots in a row since the Musket you have to re-load after every shot

What console? You might want to edit your post to include the console.

 

I don't want to say yes or no, Because I'd like to join but i can't guarantee that i would be on at that time to join.

2. You might want to remove the 16th slot since the lobby can only hold 16 people so it'll be 15 Players + 1 Host = 16 so only 15 slots are open instead of 16

I completely missed that Ha, Well that sucks i'm on PS3 so i won't be able to join but it sounds like something my crew mates might enjoy doing.
