1971 Nova.. need help

Hey guys, I know there isn't a Nova in game but I'm trying to decide which car could be modded or just left stock that could pull off looking like a Nova. I'm stuck between the Sabre Turbo and the Vigero but are there others that I'm not thinking of that could pull off the look?

 

Probably gonna get hate for this but I'm just trying to recreate the car Stuntman Mike drives in Death Proof so I can sit it next to my Charger.

Okay thank you. The pics you provided help a lot (for some reason I could not get any decent pics from the movie and was going off of memory and Wikipedia lol). I think I'm going to go matte black with it like in the movie but your paint job is so nice I wanna spawn a second one.

ha yes, that would be awesome! I mean it is NEARLY death proof with 100% armor. I've never blown any car up or died from crashing except supers.

Yeah I'd choose the Vigero. It's based on the 67-69 Camaro/Firebird Fbody car. The 68-74 Nova was more or less the same car. To save money when designing that Nova GM used the same floor pan, same suspension, engine options, trans, rear ends ,brakes, and I've even seen a 69 Camaro that had a 70 nova dash and gauge cluster (he said it was a direct bolt in). So, seeing as how that generation of Nova was more or less a reskin of the first gen Camaro, the Vigero is the only logical choice.

 

 

Edit: LOL at the Buccaneer being a suggestion. It would make a better 66 or 67 GTO clone, but surely not a Nova of any year.

I feel stupid. I typed Charger but meant to type Challenger... sh*t... I modded the Gauntlet to look like the Challenger from Vanishing Point. Don't know why I typed Charger...

With add on mods, you can customize and store vehicles in IV, right? That's what I had heard but thought it was BS.

I can't b*tch too much though, the 67-69 Camaro is my favorite car and I got it in the Vigero. The blue I posted above was my best shot at replicating LeMans Blue. The base blue could be darker, but hey...it's pretty damn close. If only we could add a stripe around the nose of the Vigero....again, can't b*tch too much

Honestly, I'm a newbie and I only new of Vanishing Point from Death Proof. I watched the movie and liked it, but loved the car. Gauntlet is pretty much my ever day drive around except maybe my hot pink 9F Cabrio.

I agree with you on all those. I pay grind for days to own them and mod them. I also want a true Chevelle too. My dad owned one when I was a kid (wanna say a 69 or 72, between there, I have no f'ing clue) and it was my first muscle car experience. it was either bronze or gold painted and I loved how fast it went and how it shined in the sun.. but the leather seats used to burn the sh*t out of my back and arms.

We became close friends and I was able to drive it a lot...and he gave me $100 a few months down the road - win, win. I will probably never be able to afford another one. I was a king for 3 damn days....

Man, how lucky. It is such a beautiful car. When I got old enough, my dad was supposed to teach me how to drive it but sadly that never happened. I texted my mom though and she told me that this one is pretty much the car he owned:
