Sure. Then the wheelie bars would actually be useful.

Yes, they do. Right now they serve no real purpose, so it was pointless for R* to implement them into the game. But, say if fully-upgraded muscle cars wheelie'd on launch and people wanted to prevent that, the wheelie bars would actually not be a waste of space.

 

It is not pointless to have them in the game.

There are a lot of street driven cars with wheelie bars.

Some like the look and most don't want to have to remove and install them every time they go to the track.

And also have hydraulics for low riders and maybe other cars, They should do car dlc for tuning and add low rider meets drag strip for muscle and pink slip racing and maybe add nos and more features like opening the hood and having detailed engines

Sure, why not? But they would have to accelerate a lot faster than they do now or it would be stupid.

This. It just wouldn't look right unless they launched like a 'boost start' in races.

I would like the muscles which have wheelie bar mods available to be able to achieve a full on wheelie only when they get a full turbo start. A lesser turbo start would get lesser wheelies. Adding the wheelie bar would reduce the wheelies and maintain control. Muscle cars without wheelie bar mod should only get partial wheelies like hops and never get all the way up. They should not be an issue during the race and accellerating normally because you neex front tires to steer.

 

I also would not suggest doing it the way that kid did in the video. Looks like the whole car is floaty and difficult to manage. Sort of like setting the suspension to like negative 5. It would completely ruin it for racing.

 

Maybe allowing for wheelies in freemode from a tire spinning dead stop...just so it is available.
