AutoAim takes much more skill than FA

I like auto aim because honestly, its more fun. If I wanted to play a game without it, I'd be playing an FPS.

 

Look i tried having fun in Free Aim and while i adapted to it, I was just not having fun.

I had to work extra hard on foot work and not getting to close to the props in the maps.....just too much bullsh1t to deal with.

 

So I went back to AA and started having fun again. Im not applying for a Free Aim Heisman Trophy or anything. Rockstar isnt cutting me a check for being good at Free Aim.

 

I play this game to have fun and AA does it for me. Plus this is GTA, where Auto-Aim has always been in the gameplay and just like the folks who cry about the Lester Reveal option, as far as I can remember, blips were always part of the Deathmatches and disabling the blips was your own personal choice.

Thats how I see the aim option in this game. Personal choice.

no he was not! He was created, the scientist was the master. And i ignored your reply to kd because being locked in a cod map does not prove you to be an efficient killers, an open world map does. I have freedom of movement in a wider range. So if you sneak up on me and kill me, its more of a skilled kill versus knowing your opponent will always be somewhere close to you on the map.. COD requires no effort whatsoever.

 

I wish you knew how to quote properly, ffs. Plot twist; the scientist you're referring to, is named Dr. Victor Frankenstein, the monster is known as Frankenstein's Monster, Frankenstein's Creature, Adam, Or Monster, and yes, Frankenstein, but that derives from a misconception, which you have displayed.

AA is more challenging knowing that anyone with the ability to hold a controller will kill you if you mess up. As for free aim i dont see any skill in it because the game shooting mechanics is just aim & shoot due to its lack of recoil. Maybe if this was BF I would take it more seriously and this is coming from a guy who uses LMGs with a kick like motherf*cker.

Honestly, I say play whatever you want. I bounce between AA and FA periodically. Pretty much depends on my mood. But this argument of "which is better" and "which takes more skill" is like the argument back in middle school in the mid-90s about which was better, Pokemon or Digimon. WHO THE f*ck CARES!!!??? It depends on how you look at it. In FA it's harder to kill, in AA it's harder to not die. lol

I play Auto Aim as I see the game as more casual, and Free Aim has a learning curve I'm not that fussed about climbing.

 

Personally I don't worry if one type takes more skill than another, anyone who plays the game the way they want is playing it right imo

They are just too different to compare in my opinion.
For example, if the enemy is behind cover, and you are there waiting for him to pop out, it goes one of two ways:

In auto aim, he will pop out with an auto lock and decimate you, because he can fire as soon as he pops out, and successfully kill you.

In free aim, he will pop out, but since you're already aiming at where he is, he will get shot down before he even has the chance to fire his weapon.

Auto aim is better than free aim, but honestly they're both so god damn easy it doesn't make a difference. I love hanging around out of range of the auto aim for other players and picking them off. Gotta love it.
