OP is right tho. Everyone's got AA so fighting is tough. You gotta use cover, be patient, lob grenades with accuracy. It requires a tactical strategy in AA, where as FA is just two guys trying to get their dot ontop of the guy before he does it to him

Of course because half the time you are locking on to cops. Which can either lead to 2 things 1. You cant shoot the person you want to kill and they kill you or 2. you get 5 stars for nothing.

I wouldn't say AA takes much more skill than FA, but the opposite is also not true. It's a different skill set because strategically choosing your position is more important in AA, as well as choosing the right weapon.

I've been in freaim lobbies, those guys couldnt hit a turd if it hit them in the face. I can literally stand beside my car for 2 minutes and not get hit.

 

I just don't see the skill of FA, but Auto aiming, everyone is basically an aimbot, it builds character and it develops real skills.

People use cover in FA combat the exact same way. Theres just no aim bots.

 

Anyone who thinks AUTO AIM, Which is designed to make shooting simple takes more skill skill then manually doing it yourself is just retarded.

Free aim = a wiggle your stick to the left or right

 

Put it this way. In AA you're against someone with perfect aim. Tougher opponents = tough fights = better tactical ability

Everyone talks about AA vs FA but even in AA I find myself pushing the analog stick in the direction it needs to go in when trying to kill some one a block away from me or so. AA only works in close combat and from a tatical stand point thats when sh*t hits the fan in AA lobbys. So basically if you are not in range and my general philosophy is to not let you get in a range to lock on to me, auto aim becomes free aim and this also plays in to laggy connection. Dying even though you locked on and started shooting first. Or just not even locking on some times. I think some one already said it. It takes more skill to not die in AA. On another note snipers, miniguns, rpgs are always free aim and I will hit you with one of them.

There are many many many ways to be good at this game if you learn and you don't need to roll unless last resort in autoaim either. Just get good at tactics and you can beat mostly anyone. It's just practice and perseverence for some that aren't that good, but you will get there if you keep trying. Don't get angry as that will be your problem not there's.

The different aim settings provide different gameplay experiences, and you will encounter both skilled and unskilled players in both.

 

It's a friggin' setting preference.

 

It's funny how you have AAers creating threads and posting reasons why their aim preference is the better one, almost attempting to justify why they AA. Same goes for the FA elitists.

 

All I know is that free aim nets you more RP, and in Stats, Combat subsection, Free Aim Kills are actually recorded. Also, the public lobbies will be less populated, for the most part.

 

I want more control (and more RP), so I free aim. Live (and die) with your aim preference.
