Maybe if Comcast didn't have an almost complete monopoly on the whole market in the United States then they would probably care more about customer satisfaction. Right now they're probably just trying to put the highest possible prices on the lowest possible bandwidth. Edit: In short, Comcast is the devil, Google Fiber is the salvation. This thread is like a bunch of guys comparing who has the biggest dick, lol. I feel for you two though! I used to have bad internet but I recently moved now it's better. So I know what it's like when everyone else has better internet. Here's mine according to my iPad app: 35.72Mbps download and 1.12Mbps upload. If you read the other post I made you will see that I sympathised with them because I know what it's like, so I obviously understand that it can be annoying. I was just trying to cheer them up by giving them perspective on what really matters. So, yeah... BucNazT Posted November 9, 2014 Share Posted November 9, 2014 Ok, i just performed two tests on my laptop. the first result is running the speed test through my wifi. I was happy with the result, especially the ping! being a gamer, I want my network free of latency issues. Then I decided to plug the same laptop straight into the router through a cat 6 cable, which is usually wired to my PS4, and I got these results. The lower ping, I expected and am happy with. But, the download speeds really took a hit and I'm not totally sure why. Are these results normal when comparing a wired connection to a wireless one? Someone please hurry up and tell NBNco to hurry up the FTTP rollout in my area, I can't wait to get off A/DSL I wish I had cable, I would be much happy with that than ADSL, I'll take any kind of Upgrade over ADSL besides FTTN.
