It seems to be slowest from now until about 18:00, probably because of businesses and whatnot. Really picks up at midnight though . I am also two rooms away in the apartment from the wireless router and have Netflix running during the test. It's holding up well. I'd drop kick a kitten for Google Fiber. Normal ethernet cable (Cat5e) is 100Mb/s but Cat6 supports 1000Mb/s aka 1Gb/s. If you were getting 100Mb+ on your broadband connection you need a Gigabit connection on your router and device other wise you would be limited to 100Mb/s.
