Tomi Posted January 3, 2003 Share Posted January 3, 2003 Hello, everyone. My first post here and I must say that this is a kick ass board. I've read this site for 3 months and I've also used a lot of search. However, I'm having some troubles with hidden packages. I had 4 hidden packages before I really started looking for the rest of them (yes, with the map). Now, I am absolutely positively sure that I found 96 more hidden packages. I printed out a map and drew a little dot on every hidden packages I found. However, the counter shows I only have 99 packages. I know that this topic has been beaten to death, but holy hell this pisses me off. The only packages that weren't there were: - #88 - Airport's heli pad - #72 - Laundromat/Dry cleaner's @ little Havana - #76 Donut shop next to police station near the STI bridge - #18 under the STI bridge 4 packages and that's the amount I had them before looking for more, remember? That makes 96 + 4 = 100. Yet the counter says I've got only 99. Now don't get me wrong, I've completed the main story missions and I have the hunter already, but still. I spend almost 5 hours collecting those bad boys and I'd really like to get the last one. And also yes - I checked and double checked that I got every package, except for those 4 I already had. Some say cheating might cause this? I haven't used cheats in the missions, but I've saved my game after some fun havoc creating sessions (w/cheats), because I had no idea that could effect to the game. Only health cheat and armor cheats, tho. What do you think? Should I start the whole damn game over? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I had about 4 hidden pakages then i bought the statergy guide and i go tthe rest on the list and i still only had 99 at the end. i went through all of them three times and i still onlyhad 99. I think I'll just check the packages again, or better yet, start a new game and find the secret packages before the first mission or something... Frank Castiglione Posted January 3, 2003 Share Posted January 3, 2003 try this. start a new mission and go look for the 4 you can't find, so you know EXACTLY where they are. Then go back to your saved game and make sure you're not just a little off on your locations. that's how i figured out my mistake. Thanks Frank, but those packages are easy as hell and I've checked the exact locations on http://www.all-vice-city.fr.st, which shows the screenshots also.
