I also have life outside modding. I only do it when I have spare time and motivation to do so. I rather focus on quality than quantity. You say you can do it much faster, which is only because you skip many parameters, leaving dozens of bugs.

Hadn't posted anything yet, but nice to see progress still going on, and different liveries on buses looks good enough. Small details like route number/city would be good, too, I suppose. Liberty City, anyone?

Also, can't wait to see some progress on V Manana mentioned in 1.0. What a sweet ride it is.

Manana might come one day as Blade replacement, but for now we haven´t even started with it. 

 

In the meanwhile, the next car I´ll be working on is the Burrito, which I actually started adapting over a year ago, but left because Junior hadn´t added the necessary functions to VehFuncs yet. Though today, the functions are still not working, I will continue with what does work...

No, it will all be in the same car. The IVF version will simply be the regular van like the one released in 2014

Have you thought about converting the cars of vanillaworks team?

This truck is of "TheF3nt0n" the classic granger.

Yes, I have thought about converting some vanilla works cars, but unfortunately those guys only create the highest poly model and the rest they "auto optimize" which obviously is not good and creates thousand bugs. The only way would be to manually optimize them, but right now I do not have enough knowledge to do that. 

 

In the meanwhile, I have now finished with Burrito

(I have skipped the gravel trailer, because I am considering of re-doing it, as the current one was converted from GTA 4´s map object and I think there are some better alternatives nowadays available. )

 

The next car in the list would be Surfer. The reason I put Surfer eligible for VehFuncs is because I wanted to make the rear doors as sliding doors. But so far Junior hasn´t added this function, so I will have to skip it. 

Then it would be the Towtruck... The only idea I had with that was to make the hazard sirens work, but since there is no way right now to make sirens without sound and without the vehicle identifying as a police vehicle, I will have to skip again.

You are correct, they have some errors. Among them in the glasses or uv mapping of some things.

For example, I also converted this trailer and it has uv error on the wheels:

I have now finished with the Intruder and started working on the Police Cruiser

But since it is one of the most common vehicles in the game, I want to put in a bit more effort. I´m not sure if all that I have in mind is possible, but my plan is to make the Police, Sheriff and Unmarked car in one with VehFuncs.

 

Also I want to add some more details:

- Roof number variations from 10-99 (same way as Bloodring Banger was done)

- New HD decals

- Roof siren variation (the current one and led one)

- New radio and computer on the dashboard

Some ideas I got from this mod:

- PowerMetal logo on the push bar

- Extras in the trunk (traffic cones, tire spikes, maybe a shotgun)

? More ideas - let me know!

Hey everybody I am new here. But still I like how many professional modders dedicate their time for improving the modding once again. In BTW please release the vehfuncs adapted vehicles pack. I also asked it on gtainside

I am still working on it... It´s not finished yet.

Love it 😎 and the undercover version is a varient or it is a other model. 

Idea, Hey please make special color schemes like blue-white,green-white for makeing it even more interesting

The sheriff version could be a 2 color version, you know, white and green, brown and beige obviously including whole white color.

I know that VehFuncs supports zone based extras. So is it possible to make a police car having LSPD, SFPD whatever extras (decals) based on their location? This could also apply to other law enforcement vehicles such as Ranger (Bone County/Flint County) and the Police Bike.

That is what I would like to do, also with many other vehicles, but unfortunately this feature in VehFuncs doesn´t work
