faustianbargain Posted January 3, 2003 Share Posted January 3, 2003 YES, this is posted in a different topic but it doesn’t clearly explain how exactly to input the codes correctly and everyone, new and pro players alike, are questioning the “load” part of it so, this is being reinterpreted so there is not so much confusion. Load any Vice city Game, then enter the big wheels code: R1, X, Triangle, Right, R2, Square, Up, Down, Square during game play. A message will confirm correct code entry. The wheels of some vehicles will become larger, while others will become smaller, some vehicles will become faster and other vehicles will become stronger. Now most people try inputting the code again. DON'T! nothing will happen. You need to pause the game and go to the load screen and load the same game, no saving, just load it again. Input the big wheels code again. The code confirmed message appears again. Now the effects on the cars has increased. Pause, load the game again and repeat. Every time you do this, the effects of the code are increased. If you do this enough, the fast cars go TOO fast. The cars with big wheels (Infernus, Cheetah, Phoenix) are TOO big. The tires can take up the width of a road and the height of a building and you can’t get in the car! The inferno in the mall will bounce out the roof and explode because it doesn‘t fit in there. When the code is enabled a few of the vehicles get faster the Caddy, Baggage Carrier, Rancher, SUV, Bobcat, BF injection, Mesa Grande, etc. To get rid of its effect, turn off the PlayStation2. DON"T SAVE! alistair from the previously posted topic added: ok, tha other effect is, some cars get extremely heavy, become immune to collision damage, handle like boats instead of cars, and become watertight (meaning if ya drive into tha sea, ya sink but dont drown) they get extremely strong, but think more like tha train in gta3 rather than tha packer... you can crash right into a barracks ol head on an send it flyin and ya wont even slow down... these cars that get this effect are - sabre turbo comet stinger banshee Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

faustianbargain Posted January 3, 2003 Author Share Posted January 3, 2003 Well, I tried that code after your post and I didn't really do it correctly at first but still got results, it was only after messing around in the game did I completely figure out what you were talking about so I've been entering that code up until the game freezes, which is about when the tires are almost as high as some of the skyscrapers and found all kinds of interesting things happening in the game. If you go inside the black of the tires on the HUGE tired cars, you can look up and see the cab of the car there. If you shoot it once, the car will bounce into the atmosphere and explode. There are so many things to do and see with this code it would be a pain in the butt to type them all so just give people the means and they will see for themselves. If you use the helicopter and get on top of the cars, you can steal them!!!! You cant see where the hell your'e going but it's fun. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

chargr67 Posted January 6, 2003 Share Posted January 6, 2003 thats hella funny... i was on my way here to do what... make this topic but im glad i didnt casue u did a killer job but heres my 2 cents... ok 1 thing i noticed is the cars that get faster all(as far as ive checked) seem to be AWD or 4x4.. away to check this is hold X and Square .. if it spins them up it has rear wheel drive. hold R1 and X and if it drags the back wheels around its a front wheel drive.. if it has both then its either All wheel drive or 4 wheel drive(basiclly the samething 1 is for off road 1 is for street) the car that i trip on is the deluxeo its an AWD and it gets big wheels.. i did it 3 times and i couldnt keep the car up right it tips so easlly but if u do it twice its 1 screamn demon. personally i like to do it like 3-4 times and race the caddy around. so how many times to u have to do it to make the cars go underwater or how does that work? and do u just land the chooper on top of them and press triagle? or do u bail out of the chopper and hope u land on it. hotFDLC Posted January 6, 2003 Share Posted January 6, 2003 If you put in this cheat enough to get loads of speed out of certain cars, some of them can ride a wheelie on the front or back. A good way to tame the beast is to put in the perfect handling cheat. BE CAREFUL ON THE TURNS!! The car will keep rolling like a cheap imitation of the Energizer Bunny and blow up.
