If I was buying one I would've got the Plus.

 

I thought iOS 8 changed the icons...NOPE. It instead did this:

 

- Changed Control Panel thingy.

 

- Added 4 apps: "Health, Podcasts, Tips, and iBooks". Health looks neat, maybe it's like like S Health on Android (I never used S Health lol), I don't use Podcasts, I don't read books on my phone, and why do we need tips?...

 

- Made it so contacts appear in the multitask menu.

 

- Now Swipe Keyboard and Text Predicting are added, like Android.

 

- Family Sharing...I don't know.

 

- More video and photo editing.

 

That's it. I don't understand what all the hype was about. Just minor changes. 1.1 Gigabits and it tooks me about an hour or so for the whole update process. Why so much data for so little?...

How did the iPhone 6 launch go for everyone?

 

I am absolutely loving my iPhone 6 Plus. Aside from looking like an idiot while talking on the phone, the size is perfect. Fits nicely in my pockets and the display itself is very nice.

 

The camera is very impressive. Goes to show that the megapixel count isn't all that matters as this phone takes pictures that look much better than some of those high megapixel phones.

 

Now we wait for Apple Pay which I am really excited to try out.

if you've nothing better to do with your time then that's up to you. i think that people who do this should perhaps better spend their time looking for a job and stop spending their benefit money on high end smartphones. or just people who have more money than common sense and can afford to take time off their work to stand about doing nothing just to be one of the first people to pay £539+ for phone they are gonna replace in a year with the iphone 6s+

 

i just order online and have someone deliver it to me. got better things to do be doing.

I would never camp outside of a store for a freaking phone. If you use your iPhone 24/7, then I can see why you might get all excited for the next generation, but I'm not really attached to my phone, so I wouldn't ever camp out to buy one.

 

I mainly use my phone for calls and texts as well as to take some pictures on occasion, but I don't really use much of the other stuff, so I'll probably wait a while before upgrading.

Yeah, that's where Apple are really the dominant force. But then again that's because their operating system is lag free, but too simplistic, and have not bloatware at all, asiding the 6 coming with pre-installed apps apparently which is stupid as f*ck. So yeah, optimization is great on the iPhone.

 

How long does the battery life last with heavy usage?

 

@SimsDaniels: Sure, that's an incredible number especially in three days. I hope they don't get lazy again just like they've been since the 4.

Actually, someone did. I was on someone's twitter page a few days ago and there was just smoke in the microwave with the 6 in it. These people are mentally ill. In fact, there's pictures in the link you posted.

 

Anyway, I went to a phone store in my local town centre and checked out both the new iPhones. Got to say, it's fantastic. It's immensely fast and its like they've injected steroids into it. However the camera is top lel, as it's literally exactly the same as the 5S except the 6 has OIS. And the design is beautiful, however, iOS is just the same sh*t once again and too overpriced.
