I never claimed that it is technically superior. I don't get a iPhone for the technicality superiorness, I get it for the experience of a great phone.

really want to get that 5.5" iphone 6+ but don't think i will. it's £619. My old 4S was £600 but after trying out a couple android devices (nexus 5/moto g) I just can't justify paying so much for an iphone anymore. I'd love to go back to iOS.

 

i'm gonna hold out to see what google does with their next nexus device.

T-Mobile announced pricing details of the Apple iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. The Big Magenta will have Cupertino’s smartphone duo available for pre-order tomorrow, on September 12.

 

 

 

The 4.7” iPhone 6 will be available with $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $27.08. The 64GB and 128GB versions of the same device will require the same monthly payments, but $99.99 and $199.99 down respectively.

 

The bigger iPhone 6 Plus will start at $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $31.24 for a 16GB model. Monthly payments of $31.25 are required for a 64GB and 128GB devices, though the down payment changes to $99.99 and $199.99.

 

The devices will be available with the carrier’s attractively priced Simple Choice plans. They include unlimited international data and texting, as well as free streaming of music.

They DEFINITELY needed a much better hardware here. Opening apps looked slightly sluggish right there on the 4.7" model. Come on Apple, are you living in the stone age? Stop being greedy little pigs and make a beastly phone.

Where in the world did you see "slightly sluggish" app opening? I have never had any "sluggish" app opening on my 5S and the 6 obviously has better processing power.

 

I watchd the video you posted about the hands on with verge. I think the software optimization isn't finished yet or whatever, but it definitely is slower at opening apps than the 5s. You can clearly see that in the video. I'm not talking about the 5s btw.

Just saw the contract deals on three.com which is usually the cheapest from my experience in the UK. Monthly cost of 45 pounds over 24 months on top of 100 pound handset cost, and that's just a 16 GB I believe. Lunacy.

Yup. Stores have officially gone crazy for the contract pricing in the UK. Absolute piece of sh*t moron c*nts.

 

The cheapest price being offered is £34.50 a month with £49.99 upfront cost and it's with Vodafone on 3G with 600 mins, ultd texts and 500mb of internet. On 4G it's £38.50 with 1 GB internet and same mins and texts.
