Something I will never understand, is people who bag hard on Iphones for their Battery life.

 

I have a 4S, and my battery will last nearly 3 days with regular use.

 

Yet I see people bitching "Oh man, I only get like 30 minutes battery life on my Ish*t" and I can't help but wonder what the f*ck they're doing with it.

Hopefully the 6 will put that annoying wave to bed.

 

I get 7 days out of my iPhone 4.

But my girlfriend tells me it's because "I never f'king use it" but I have the same reaction when people complain about battery life, mine is a couple of years old now and still runs all week - maybe up to an hour of talk time, text messages, and a few photo uploads.

The iPhone 6 Plus has pretty good battery life. Doesn't even touch several Android Phone's battery lives but I think it's a nice battery upgrade from the 5S.

And here I am, upgrading to last year's Moto X in July. Gahhhh, the small screen of the iPhone really turned me off, but now that they have a 4.7 inch screen, I'm pissed. The camera looks like a major upgrade... This may sound stupid, but the camera is a major selling point for me and smart phones, so I was bummed to learn firsh-hand that the Moto X camera is crappy.

 

Ohhh well... I'm dying to see the new iPod Touch though! I've always wanted one ever since they implemented a camera with the last model. Here's hoping that an 8MP camera gets added.

I'm kidding. I like bashing on the iPhone (and some of its fans), it's a fun thing to do.

 

To be honest I don't care if everyone gets the iPhone. Like I said, all to their own. Everyone has different preferences, and that's okay. I prefer Macbooks over Windows and prefer Android over iOS. See? I just want to make it clear that I'm not impressed by the iPhone, that's all.

So I did some looking around and found out there's a small iPhone 6! (I was thinking if the iPhone 6 Plus lol)

 

I remember my carrier store said they can swap my iPhone 5S to the iPhone 6 for little charge as long as my current phone isn't paid off. Which it's not lol. So cheap upgrade! The regular iPhone 6 looks good. Actual upgrades wise, not much change. But hey, a cheap upgrade for the phone. Heard that the iPhone 6 might have somewhat worse battery life. Meh. Don't use my phone as much as compared to some people. So don't have to worry about that. The iWatch looks nice. But like all smart watches it's kind of a gimmick. I mean it's cool and all but I don't really need it. iOS 8 will have a few small features that I like. Some improvements. Like Siri not being a total clusterf**k. Some health app, and couple other things. So cool.

 

Overall impression: Not Bad.

 

Not super hyped and excited but I like most of the new changes. If I have the time I'll preorder the regular iPhone 6. Not going to wait in line pre release. I've heard some people waited days and weeks in line, in the cold away from home for the 5S. Which is crazy. As long as I preorder it I'll get it. It will my name on it. So not bad, Apple. Not bad at all.

 

 

But really, still hate the iPhone 6 Plus. It's fat. Can't put it in my pockets.

The iPhone 6 has mostly the same battery life as the 5S although it has a few more hours in talk time and I believe one more hour of internet surfing.

 

Very small battery life upgrades but definitely not any near "worse" than the 5S as it's either the same or better depending on what you're doing with it.

Actually, iPhones still don't have widgets.

 

Now that I'm done shooting myself in the foot, yes I'll counter that crap.

 

Android rushes to get things to claim the title of "first" yet these features are commonly poorly implemented and rushed. It's rare that apple is "first" in these terms but Apple sure as hell does a much better job.

 

Some people like having things as soon as they are invented (Android Users) and others like to have things that have been "perfected" (Apple Users).

 

NFC being a good example of this. Google Wallet was among the first services using NFC yet it was poorly implemented and supported. Apple took their time and they now have a huge list of supporters. Apple Pay hasn't even been released yet and people (Not just  Users) are agreeing that it looks to be much better than Google Wallet.

I find the whole "We had it first" argument completely stupid. Android Users can say they had something first but Apple user get to say they have a great perfected system.

 

I'm completely fine with Apple's approach as I would much rather have perfected technology rather than stuff that half works just so it can be given the title of "first".

It's not exactly a perfected system when recently, iCloud got hacked by an amatuer and leaked naked pics of some celebrities..

That's wrong. The cloud did not get hacked. People with weak passwords and weak secruity questions got their accounts hacked. In case you don't know, that's why every company in the world including Samsung and google and Apple tell you to is very strong passwords.

 

No it wasn't. It was hacked via a brute force attack which allowed hackers to unlimited password attempts which got patched by Apple after it took place. Dumb sh*ts like you make Apple fanboys look like absolute morons with an IQ level of 1.It's idiots like you who only read half a page from 10 days ago and think it's faith. They still do not know 100% why. Their latest thought is with the "find my iphone" app being compromised which has been patched. They are still unsure if that is it of not. And it's was people with weak passwords who got hit otherwise they will be thousands more celebrities it's leaked pictures.

Maybe you should do something called research before trying to sound intelligent.

This phone actually needs 2 GB of RAM. It'd increase performance as well as allow more space, that's a fact. I'm really not sure now if it's just the animation switching to an app or its actually slow. Still disappointing.

Where in the world did you see "slightly sluggish" app opening? I have never had any "sluggish" app opening on my 5S and the 6 obviously has better processing power.

I was like that when the 5S came out until I used one and did some research. The 64 bit processor made the 5S the most powerful and fastest until the s5 and m8 release.

 

Edit: 1 GB of ram? And yet it's capable of 2 or 3?
