Why such a large storage capacity? ._. I never understood why people need more than 64GB.

Reason 1- I currently have a 16gb iPhone 5 and am tired of having not enough space

Reason 2- I was going to get a 64gb but they weren't taking orders so I thought I might as well get the 128gb

Reason 3- I was given an extremely good plan for the 128gb, cheaper than any of the plans available (2.9gb of data a month, first 2 months unlimited)

Reason 4- I'll have enough space for everything I want on my phone (Music, photos, apps, movies, tv shows etc.)

Reason 5- I'll have excess space just in case

If only Apple had SD slots instead of charging one hundred for extra storage.

Wow, DeafMetal, so original. How did you come up with your content? gtfo. I was asking a legit question. If you did not realize that then just shut up. Let me ask you something, is Android only known for the OS? no. Goodbye, imbecile.

Phones are everything nowadays. Pictures, movies, games, apps, music. It will fill up fast.

I remember my brother saying, "what are we going to do with 20gb for the xbox 360?" now look were we are. 500gb isn't enough lol

I was gonna say something about that too lol

A week late but apparently this redditer couldn't get his iphone replaced.

http://www.reddit.com/r/iphone/comments/2ilswo/i_made_fun_of_people_freaking_out_over_bendgate/cl39bt7

He edited it saying he was able to get a replacement at another Apple Store. He likely got a douche bag Apple representative (I've experienced this) the first time.

Lmao. I don't understand why Apple can't increase the battery life to AT LEAST 2500 mah? Inb4 apple fanboys say iphone doesn't need a bigger battery lmao. It's like they are in the stone age. Anything less than 2000 mah is pathetic.

This girl in my History class was using her 6+ before we all got settled... and bruh - the phone was probably bigger than her face. She's a tiny girl. Why do people do these things?

The iPhone 6 Plus's battery most definitely lasts longer than the 5S. My 5S was unable to make it to the end of the day but on average, my 6+ has around 20-30% left when I get home and I use my phone very heavily all day for music, Netflix, Twitter and I use Mail, Messages and phone among others occasionally.

The iPhone 6 Plus obviously has a worse battery than most Android phones but all I need is a full days use which I get so I'm satisfied.

But don't you ever think that 1800 mah is pathetic as f*ck anyway? Phones like these need at least 2500 MAh to last a decent amount of time. My Galaxy Ace which is one of the worst mid-range android phones ever made has almost the same battery size as the normal iPhone 6. Yes the 6 plus has a 2900 MAh battery which is actually good, but it seems to be getting smacked around by the android competitors very easily. It's quite ridiculous since the iPhones are very optimized phones and are not power hungry.

sh*t, I think 2800 mAh should be a standard these days, at least

The reasons why I never buy an iPhone is because of no SD support and obligated software such as iTunes.

Instead, I bought a Galaxy S5 and I loved it. I don't need metal and sh*t. Currently having a 32GB SD and soon I want to upgrade to 64GB SD.

I don't hate Apple or something. It's just how they are acting. Why payng too much money if there are altenative things?

IOS 8.1 with Apple Pay released today!

I went to my local Subway only to find out that they had no clue what NFC or Apple Pay was. I then went to Chevron and their NFC systems weren't working. In the end, I was determined to try out Apple Pay so I went to McDonalds which is a place that I hate. McDonalds ended up being the only place that was prepared for Apple Pay that I went to and everything there worked perfectly. Pulled out my iPhone and 5 seconds later I was being handed my receipt. :)

In all, Apple Pay is a great system and on Apple's end everything works perfectly. The only issue is that retailers need to get on board and when they do get on board, they need to learn how to get it running correctly. Luckily, Apple just partnered up with a ton of new retailers so this issue should start to go away eventually.

My (Galaxy) S4 Mini has a 1900 MAh battery, I use it quite heavily, and am getting 8-9 hours out of it (I listen to music 1-2 hours, stream Netflix and browse the web all day), which makes it look like iPhones are clearly not optimized like they should be.

Just like that kid in the video that was shaking like a vibrator and had a giant orgasm and then dropped his iPhone 6 on the street?

Let me tell ya, even those f*cked up people like kids will commit suicide if they'll not get the iPhone 6.

The media is beyond f*cked up.

Android makes a good point. Why is it just Apple when their iPhone's are released? When it isn't Apple, it's Samsung which is rare.

What I don't understand is, why aren't Android and contact less card users happy about Apple Pay? Thanks to Apple Pay, a huge number of retailers are adding NFC. This is just like how Apple users have Andriod to thank for Apple releasing bigger screened iPhones.

Competition is great for consumers.

^Probably because it's only for Apple Pay.

Nope, the NFC scanners are compatible with any NFC capable device.

Because it's one of the worst gimmicks ever made. Apple Pay is going to be PRONE to hacks. You really think it's not going to face problems in the future? People can even manage to hack other credit cards from different countries now, let alone stealing one and knowing the pin like the olden days. So can you imagine what they would do with the Apple Pay system? Exactly. Not even that, imagine your phone is dead at that time.......bye bye to the product you wanted to buy. Now yes, most likely people will have charged it at that point, but not everyone will.

Secondly, what's wrong with credit/debit cards? Nothing. So why are retailers being forced to join a useless gimmick that's going to complicated people's lives by making them pay by phone? Not everyone has an iPhone and certainly not everyone is going to use the NFC sh*t. If the pay system is physically and technologically seperate, then maybe they can do something with it. Other than that, NO.

Thirdly, it's sad to see the media and retarded teens and adults wanking over the hype of iPhones and especially this pay system. What the f*ck has the world come to if they get extremely excited over this? I've pretty much never seen Samsung or any other android affiliated company get this much attention. It's simply, market the product, get people to buy it, make profit and case closed. One or two gimmicks sure, but those are so tiny it doesn't even matter.

That is the best phone ever made. Serious. They both look epic.

Keyboard looks cool. Notifications looks crazy.

What are notifications like? I can't get it to work.

It's very nice, that's all I can say.

Man that Apple pay is simple, but effective as f*ck. Nice going Apple. You've changed big time ;)

Because it's the best looking iPhone to date, there's actual innovation from them finally since iPhone 4, display has been much improved, bigger screen, better hardware, Apple Pay, much better camera and it is thin as f*ck. The only thing I'm disappointed with is that there isn't that much customization still, but I'm happy they've at least made the notifications section much better.

First thing I'd like to point out is that you should really try to maintain your backtracking.

Next up is if you're going to pathetically whine and post a big rant about a product that just about doesn't effect you, make sure your facts are straight. Seriously, are you just having a bad day or are you always like this to where you have to go on and rant to make yourself feel better about a product you clearly won't be buying. Your counter to just about everything Apple related is, "IT'S A GIMMICK". Cool, you think lots of Apple products are gimmicks, we get it.

Their are a crazy amount of holes and points in your argument that are completely false. You stated that retailers are being forced to use Apple Pay? That's the stupidest false statement I've ever heard. Retailers are adding NFC for Apple Pay because they want to. For retailers, simply having their company logo on Apple.com is a big thing and those retailers that do support Apple Pay surely got a surge of bussiness yesterday.

Next false statement by you is you said NFC is a gimmick because not everyone has an iPhone. To use NFC, all you need is a NFC capable device such as a phone or a contact less credit card.

Last thing I would like to point out are your mentions on security. Apple has gone to great lengths to secure Apple Pay. Your credit car info is never stored on a server, it's just stored directly on your phone and with your bank. When you use Apple Pay, your personal info and card info are not shared with the merchant. For example, you may have heard that Target got hacked somewhat recently and their shoppers payment info was stolen. Apple Pay would have prevented this as Apple Pay wouldn't hand over your info to the merchant. In all, paying with digital currencies has its risks and with Apple Pay those risks are around the same as using a card if not even more secure.

Heh, you honestly think all those comments I posted were serious? Why would I post them and suddenly change my views for no reason? That's the way I've always acted whenever an iPhone has come out since the 4. It's an overhyped piece of crap, since the past 4 years, and any sane person can see that. It's an overpriced phone, which ANY one can see that apart from Apple fanboys. Regardless, I still think it's a good phone that has it's flaws.

On to the next point. You seriously can't even take critisicm of your favourite product. Get the f*ck out of this forum if you're such a pussy because everyone else seems to handle it properly except you. I have a right to post my opinion, and if you don't like it, don't read it, stupid American.

Next point, NFC is a gimmick, enough said. I already told you not everyone is going to use this pay system even if their phone is NFC capable. If you think otherwise, you're the biggest idiot fanboy I've seen so far. And you clearly did not read my battery rant, so you are avoiding this subject as you know you cant even argue with it. Most of the people will be using their normal credit/debit card because it's EASIER and faster to use, enough said.

Lastly, the last paragraph is a load of nonsense lmao. You have to think about situations that can occur. For example, you are f*cked if you lose your phone, so it's a giant hassle right there. Secondly, what happens when you break your phone or significantly damage it and it doesn't work anymore? Hassle. You will need to get it replaced or fix it. Excetera, excetera. And those card details will be in your phone, still.

Unlike you, I actually have no issue with PERSONAL opinions and I can actually take criticism.. What you said in your last post weren't opnions, they were false statements in which I was correcting you on. Get it right.

For example, you said that if you loose your phone, you are f*cked. Not surprisingly from you, that is also false. Apple has placed precautions for this as your fingerprint is required and you can remotely wipe and or lock up your phone.

I have absolutely no problem with you expressing your OPINION, but, if you continue throwing out false statements I'm simply going to correct you.
