TEN MILLION iPhone 6's were sold in case anyone was unaware of that.

Out of that HUGE number, nine have went to Apple about an issue about bending in their pockets. Earlier in this topic, it was stated that Apple were liars by putting this figure out saying that "hundreds if not thousands" are having this issue.

Apple never claimed that only nine iPhone 6's have been bent, the claim is that nine have been brought to Apple. So what is happening with all of the other bent iPhone 6's?? They are being bent by hands and being thrown in front of a camera.

My local Apple Store hasn't received a single legitimate iPhone 6 Plus that was bent from being inside a pocket. If you go around, you'll find tons of people showing off a bent iPhone 6 Plus from what they did with THEIR HANDS but the amount of issues that comply with it being in a pocket are low.

If you manage to get a iPhone 6 Plus bent inside your pocket from standard use then you're in luck, one Apple will replace it and two IOS 8 brought a App called "Health" which you will likely need. Not that any of that matters as well over majority of these iPhones are being bent by hands, not pockets.

if you actually went out and bought an iPhone 6, I think a "bent" device should be the least of your concerns...

@SimsDaniel916 If Apple is willing to replace bent iphones regardless how it got bent ( which I'd be very surprised ) then that necessarily would show Apple isn't all that cheap. But like I said earlier, PHONES SHOULD NOT BEND THAT EASILY. I have an s4 and wear tight jeans. Never once my S4 cracked or #bend. In the end you have to least admit that the 6 and 6 plus bends to easily.

While the Nexus 4 looks superior, the 6 actually kills it in benchmarks test.

I have an iPhone 6 Plus and wear tight khakis. Never once has my iPhone 6 Plus cracked or bent.

Yes, I do admit that the iPhone 6 Plus bends too easily. Unfortunately, that is the issue with aluminum and a thin design but the point I'm making is that it's not nearly as big of a problem as many are making it out to be.

Although, most of this bending garbage has already blown over in terms of the media and other discussions.

I'd give some time before people start noticing. But anyway it's obviously not stopping folks from buying it.

There may not be many bending reports yet, but keep in mind that the iPeasant 6 has only been out for a few weeks. I'm sure the number of bent devices will keep increasing exponentially as the year goes on.

If it bends I don`t see it like a big problem, the big problem is the glass who shatters at a single drop from your hands

I honestly never understood the fascination with iphones and apple products. They're just pretty looking.

Looks like this whole poor design choice from Apple is starting to make other companies cocky.

to be fair, there was a short time when Apple was definitely the leader.

the original iPhone was a complete game-changer that blew every other current phone out of the water.

that's why Apple has the cult following that it does.

but they've let the competition pass them by. Apple's success right now is hinged on the millions of sheep that they've trained to buy anything regardless of how it compares to similar products.

i wonder when Samsung will actually become a company selling Samsung phones instead of selling just hardware.... Must be easy to produce better hardware when your just doing half a job.

I'm pretty sure all phone brands just sell hardware. I doubt you'll find a phone that is made and sold by the same company. Even Apple is "guilty" of this, I mean...Some of their A8 chips in the iPhone 6's are made by Samsung.

The retina displays used in the iPad's are made by Samsung. So even Apple are guilty of that method. However, in this case, Samsung are pretty stupid since LCD is better than AMOLED at this point and since Apple own the rights to the display, Samsung can't use it. The only disadvantage iPhones have is low resolution and sh*tty pixel density.

I can't believe no-one has mentioned the downscaling either. Why the f*ck would any company in their right mind produce a phone with a native 2208x1242 resolution and then downscale everything to 1920x1080, instead of just selling a product with a native 1920x1080 resolution? I mean, I get that the former is a product of trying to keep unity across all models in terms of icon scaling but if you download a film from iTunes, your phone will upscale it from 1920x1080 to 2208x1242 (losing quality) and then downscale that back to 1920x1080 (losing quality). That's not a graceful solution is it?

There's always a retard in this world that's gonna spend money on a useless sh*t like this. On the other hand, the guy selling it knows business 101 for sure. He clearly knows someone will buy it.

Someone actually....bought a prototype of the iPhone 6....for that much money? More money than sense.

I will probably be getting a 6 in the next few months.

Haven't decided yet if the regular or the plus. I might go for the plus.

Not sure why people get called for "retards" for buying a particular phone. I'm quite happy with the iPhone. It does all I need it to and it doesn't break the bank for me. I only go for the major upgrades, though. I don't get the "in-betweens". That's just ridiculous considering they are released every year now.

I honestly could not care less if someone uses an Android phone or an iPhone. It's a f*cking phone, as long as it does what you need it to do, good. Get over it.

I would try out both models in person if you're not sure which one to choose.

I don't know if I want an iPhone 6 yet. All my 5S cases would be worthless. :/

(Battery case, waterproof case, game controller case)

Then having to wait for newer versions of those cases. If I'm getting iPhone 6, I want my cases. Not those stupid, fat and bulky Otter Box cases or whatever they're called.

Regarding the iPhone 6 Prototype purchase, it's either some mad man or it's more likely a person/company that is very rich and plans on getting a little richer. Believe it or not, the value on that thing will keep on going up.

Got mine on Friday. Pretty happy with it.

It's a bit bigger than the 5, which I wasn't too thrilled about. I'd never gotten an iPhone 'til 5 since before then they were always too bulky for my tastes. Happy to say though , because it's a bit thinner and lighter , I can carry it about no Probs without feeling like I've got a brick in my pocket.

No sign of it bending yet either....

''I see sheep people''

Really? Are you so insecure that you have to use what huge, faceless cooperation you choose to buy your electrical gadgets from to express your individuality?

You really shouldn't take that seriously.

Purchased my 128gb iPhone 6 last Thursday and should arrive today or tomorrow. I really couldn't give two sh*ts about what people think or say about them either. They're easy to use and it works for me. Nothing but a matter of preference.

Why such a large storage capacity? ._. I never understood why people need more than 64GB.

I also opted for the 128GB and I have currently used 40GB. Even though I admittedly use less than half of the content I have on my iPhone, I love to have it full of content. Therefor, I have a huge library of songs, movies, TV shows, apps and just about everything else I can get and I also like taking photographs. By taking photos, 240 FPS HD Slo-mo and 1080p HD videos, the storage usage racks up very quickly.

I understand that most people wouldn't ever use over 64GB on a phone but I use my iPhone very extensively so it's nice to know I just about never have to worry about clearing up storage.

For me it's movies. I used up all of my phone storage and 16gb memory on my old s4.
