New Hooker Money Glitch - Discussion Thread

The glitch wasn't built into the game, it happens as a result of certain actions that confuse the game into doing something that was never intended to happen (i.e. duplicating vehicles).

 

In programing they like to call this an extra feature.. Just saying man..

Free roam is madness, you've got glitchers, and on the other side vigilantes, tanks camping eclipse, snipers potshotting LSC, and bounties, mercs and muggers galore. Those of a gentle disposition should steer clear of public lobbies for a while

Chaos? Oh hell yea that's when it's most fun for me. I usually drive around with stickies or get into a fighter jet.

 

I've noticed more chaos lately though, times like these are win tanks are most useful lol

what im wondering is how somebody figured this glitch out

 

somebody actually picked up a hooker, tapped her, killed her, drove back to the garage where a car was conveniently blocking the door way and then swapped their super car with a elegy and realized it duplicated it?

It's the middle of the week and I'm working with little time for games but all this "trolling public glitchers" business is so tempting.

Rockstar can't and won't clear this money. Much harder to distinguish than dns nodding, they would end up taking cash from legit players.

 

My thought is that they patch the glitch with zero consequences.

It wouldn't be too hard imo?

I don't know if it''s available to see, but they just need to look to see who's money from car sales is has risen 5/10M+ in the past week.

I'll be surprised if they can't track people ordering 50 elegy's all of a sudden, I'm pretty sure they'll do nothing but patch it out though.

I don't think they stopped selling Elergys because they were already free so maybe they stopped giving them away, but I have 19 of them that are all Adders, if anyone needs them let me know.,

I tried this with the Panto. I got 9 Pantos then duped Adders over them but I was left with 9 Pantos worth $79k each that looked like Adders

It must be logged somewhere as it's displayed on the social club - as for how easy it would be to get rid of excess glitch money I don't know!

Its almost all on R* servers, GTAO is not a peer to peer game for the most part.

 

That's why if you do something to draw attention they can do a manual audit of all your actions, but that takes a lot of manpower.

 

So they either take the game down and adjust everyone's cash to certain programmed levels or they run a sweep to some criteria and identify players for individual attention.

 

The former is what was done to take our billions and the latter has been going on since day one

The reason why you get maximum value with an elegy is because they can't be sold. So instead of taking the amount of the elegy it takes the amount of the car you are duplicating. If you use a salable car, the duplicate will take the value of that salable car.

Yeah same here. I really hate Simeon atm. It's always the case though when you just want to get back to your garage. Although I've been trying to make sure I don't jack a simeon list vehicle with this glitch about..

Go to the Rooftop Rumble start position (parking garage), go underneath the highway, as soon as you're able to go right, at that corner will spawn a hooker every time. Just keep driving around until it spawns.
