I find myself undecided at the mo, i hate cheating but i don't think rockstar will punish the cheats so I'm thinking why disadvantage myself against everyone else. On the other hand i do enjoy the sense of progression as i earn rank and cash.

Never glitched, never gifted money, been playing online two days after rockstar gave the money. Still having a ton of fun, still do what I want in free roam. Made $180 k playing missions in three hours of game play without doing rr.

Actually I havent reported anyone and dont plan on it. You're referring to a post I made earlier today that I deleted. After I thought about it I realized reporting is going a bit far. Im sure R* either will or wont deal with it.

 

Quite honestly the only way to settle this is to talk to a R* rep and find out if the glitching delays DLC. If it does delay DLC then they are just f*cking it up for everyone. If it dosent delay DLC then I couldnt care less about the glitch. Glitch it up.

You haven't been around the forums when the first Money Wipe happened didn't you? You didn't visit the Rockstar Newswire forums when that happened didn't you?

 

Reason why they didn't ban the people who Wall-Breach and/or who used the LSC money glitches was because those are minor. But compared to this? Only the future knows all.....

the tank isnt sh*t anymore (tanker pays the bill when they pop vehicles), the attack chopper can be outrun, the jet...well..you cant buy the jet, so the jet doesnt count.

 

everything else that can be bought can easily be bought by maybe 2 or 3 runs of RR, so those are irrelevent.

 

this is why glitching doesnt bother me, because all of these things arent a big deal.

 

when sh*t happens that just plain isnt supposed to happens, people need to start caring.

 

 

tl/dr: if you cheat and it effects nobody but yourself, i do not care. if you cheat and it directly effects me (or others) and hurts me ( or others), then it becomes a problem.

Even though I don't think what you're saying happened. That style of glitch was predominant in the beginning. The point here is you first have a public outcry for a single death, and a couple of bucks for insurance in an open lobby.

 

To clarify, if you're in an open lobby and your car doesn't get blown up and you don't get killed at least once then you probably spent your whole day cowering in your garage and deserved the results. So effectively you're complaining about something you should expect!

 

So the reality you're probably one of those whiney kids that thinks that everyone deserves a trophy and the world should bend over backwards for you because it owes you a favor or you just want the attention. I hate to break this to you special little snowflake but nobody cares about your single demise or your insurance payment. We deal with it daily. If you don't like the world, go Invite only which would be the smart thing to do!

i should also add that i try to avoid people in the free roam for the simple fact that killing or getting killed in freeroam is just bad for business so im up and around blaine county/on the highway wherever constantly moving while on call.

 

losing even one dollar to bs with other players is one dollar too much in my case. i do not like wasting money.

 

when people come by, i shoot them, when there is a chopper, i simply change directions or go around blocks like near trevers house until they get bored and leave.

 

if its a tank...well typically im screwed but at least now they pay my bills.

 

if its a jet? i get in the tunnel....if they actually bail and try to chase me down? i go passive mode and start a job.

 

i tend to avoid freeroam a lot now-a-days simply because wasting money is bad, no matter how much you have.

 

its a shame you are so stupid as to try to argue the fact that glitching is a bad thing if it effects other people.

 

do the world a favor and do not reproduce and if you already have, science help us that that special snowflake makes friends with the school bus one morning.

Did I bitch? Did I come on here and cry? No. I got annoyed and moved the f*ck on with my day because even though I lost a solid 150-200k in cash spent on mods I didn't even have.

Here's the funny part...R* already has their algorithms in place on SC that can determine whether or not earnings are made in a timely manner, and they've done plenty of banning of people who have been accused of or proven to have been "cheating the system". People make it so obvious it's plain stupid.

That exactly what 99% of people are doing right now, exploiting in ridiculous amounts that's naturally going to get found, flagged and eventually punished. They know what's going on by now, and their letting you do it so that when they do finally come down on you, you can give the puppy eyes all you want, just have a plan B for a while afterwards, and by plan B I mean another game you enjoy playing, cuz you'll be taking a vacation from LS for a while.
